Breakfast buffet is veruly nice including a lot of varieties on daily basis. The whole staff in the Hotel are vey friendly doing their best to satisfy residents especulially Mariam who is always cheerful and handling all requests with care.

Room windows was leaking noise, which reflected on the A/C efficiency. The corridor smells not good Breakast is very limited in varieties. (Only the Foul and Tameia were nice) Simply ordered scramble eggs recieved omelet. The breakfast restaurant was very noisy specially the big fan around with no cooling effect. We were Family of 5 and we had a guest with us the staff asked all of us about the room#. At the bill time we didn't checked the bill but paid with contactless card then recognized the huge amount charged when get to disscuss with the responsible tooks time ti be convinced with the fact we are hotel guest were breakfast included then finally he made the refund but Unfortunately cash not to the card, I dont know why.

The view was great The reception team is perfect The housekeeping team is excellent The drivers and concierge team were exceptionally serving us as a Royal Family. Room amineties are perfect. I rarely can find these days. The courtesy to find soft drinks at the fridge was awesome

The room furniture is dated and would benefit from renovation to enhance comfort and aesthetics. During breakfast, there’s no complimentary water dispenser, and brewed coffee is only available at an extra charge. The adjacent public beach is often very crowded and noisy, which impacts the tranquility of the view, as a significant portion faces that direction. Valet parking is for an extra per day fee, and the cars are parked in a lot located on the other side of the street which requires some time to retrieve the car.

The hotel boasts a unique location with stunning sea views, especially of Stanley’s Cove and bridge. Rooms are basic yet comfortable, offering everything needed for a relatively pleasant stay. Bathroom amenities included luffas and toothbrushing sets. Breakfast may have limited variety, but the ingredients are fresh and the flavors are satisfying. The on-site restaurant serves quality food, and its classic decor and event adds to the charm. The terrace is a highlight, providing a lovely spot to enjoy the scenic surroundings.

There were a couple of significant drawbacks. The biggest issue was with the main restaurant's administration and their handling of reservations for lunch and dinner. For both days of my stay, the main restaurant was being used for a wedding party, meaning guests like myself couldn't have our meals there. This was quite inconvenient and frustrating as it happened for the entirety of my visit. Additionally, the room screen was not working, which was a minor but noticeable issue. Finally, my check-in process took two hours, and I wasn't able to get into my room until 3 PM, which was a bit of a slow start to the stay.

I recently stayed at the San Giovanni Hotel from June 12th to June 14th, 2025, and have a few observations to share. First, the positives: I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel overall. The cafe offered excellent drinks and food, and the housekeeping service was top-notch. These aspects definitely contributed to a comfortable stay. However, there were a couple of significant drawbacks.
