However, I must be very clear: several members of the animation team are absolutely not up to the standards of a resort of this category. Their behavior was unprofessional, unwelcoming, and selective towards certain guests — an attitude that has no place in hospitality. Such conduct not only damages the guest experience but also harms the reputation of the hotel. In my opinion, staff with this mentality should not remain in positions that require guest interaction, and management should take immediate action to ensure the animation team truly reflects the resort’s high standards. Overall, my stay was very enjoyable thanks to the professional staff, good food, and great atmosphere, but I hope to see improvements in the animation team in the future.

I stayed for 4 nights in Marsa Alam and was so impressed with the resort that I extended my stay for another 4 nights. The facilities, location, and overall relaxing atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind. The food was very good, with plenty of variety during my stay. The restaurant management and staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist — a big credit to the hotel’s service quality. I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Yasser, the Assistant Manager, for his exceptional professionalism, hospitality, and constant attention to guests’ needs — a true asset to the hotel. Also, my gratitude goes to Ahmed Mostafa, the lobby bar waiter, whose friendly service, respect, and welcoming attitude every single day were outstanding.

There is absolutely nothing that is not likeable.

We just loved it. The hotel is cozy and not as huge and packed as the nearby ones. We stayed in the Junior suite 4016, a few steps away from the gorgeous beach. Rooms are huge. Beds are very comfortable. The food was very tasteful. Wifi is very fast in the room or at the reception. The staff made the stay wonderful as they were friendly, helpful and provided VIP service. Actually, it isn't my first time but it is my second time and as usual it was wonderful even the level of rooms going up more than before. All staff was very kind and welcoming us very nice way start from pick up by cart and Mr. Mahmoud in receiption whose gave us the best room same our request exactly, and restaurant was have all kind of food with high quality and variety, and house keeping was also very good even they care about rooms 2time every day. It was really fantastic days and I will be there again soon.

The property is situated on Coraya bay. Snorkelling is a must. Bedrooms are of a good size with excellent air conditioning/ tea and coffee facilities. Clean beach towels brought to your rooms daily along with water. 3 pools with a pool bar Beach areas with plenty of sunbeds Restaurant staff are attentive, efficient and friendly. The food is of excellent quality with plenty of variety. The beach bar is a must for a late lunch. The reception team are helpful. A big thank you to Ahmed on reception for helping me with my queries, to our room attendant Mahmoud for his attention to detail. To the Front office manager and the hotel manager for our room allocation and for taking the time to meet with the guests. To the whole of the team for their perfect Egyptian hospitality and for making us feel perfectly at home. We will miss you!

My stay at Jaz Neo Reef Marsa was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome and taken care of. The resort is beautifully maintained, with lush gardens, clean pools, and a breathtaking beach just steps away. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped, offering a comfortable retreat after long days in the sun. Waking up to the sound of the sea and enjoying coffee on the balcony was the perfect way to start each morning. The food was a real highlight—delicious, fresh, and with so many options every day. Whether it was the rich breakfast buffet, the tasty beach snacks, or the themed dinner nights, everything exceeded expectations. The service in the restaurants and bars was top-notch as well. The reef right off the beach was stunning! I was able to snorkel and see a vibrant variety of fish and coral without even needing to book a boat trip. The activities team was fun and engaging, with everything from water aerobics to evening shows that were genuinely entertaining. What truly sets this resort apart, though, is the warmth and professionalism of the staff. Every smile and gesture made a difference. Exceptional stay. Staff are very very polite and extremely friendly and cheerful always smiling across all levels. Hotel is outdated as it is old so normal, yet it is very very well maintained in every area. The whole facility is very clean and the rooms are very very clean. The beach is excellent, but you need water/aqua shoes. The all inclusive meal plan is very good. There is food variety every day but it is basic nothing fancy ordinary food but it is good. Snacks and drinks are good as well. It is a hotel located in CORAYA it is same concept as MAKADI BAY in Hurghada it is also all JAZ hotels chain same as MAKADI BAY. So it is good as you can walk around different hotels. CORAYA as I mentioned is a group of hotels all connected, you are not at the city area so you depend mainly on the hotel and the hotel entertainment and facility. It is good for relaxing time and water activities (snorkeling, diving, swimming) sports, desert activities…There is a kettle in the room with tea, green tea bags sugar nescafe packs and creamer packs. The pool area was always fully reserved with towels but no guests, nearly impossible to get a spot after 8am

Everything was to our satisfaction. I travelled and booked separately from my mother, with different room categrories. Mahmoud, the receptionist kindly arranged for us to have rooms and balconies next to each other, which made our stay so much more nicer and more convientent in terms of communication. Thank you again! Very attentive staff!!! Although I am German myself, It would have nice to have a bit more international guests, as there were around 90% Germans in the resort.

Hotel Solymar Reef is very well maintained and very clean. The food is of very high quality and has amazing taste. Everyday you'll find fresh vegetables and fruits. Deliciously prepared meat and fish! From the restaurant you have sea view, which is amazing. The atmosphere is very calm, peaceful. No loud or drunken guests. No aggressive sales techniques. In Hotel Solymar Reef you can get to relax and recharge. Tho the integrity and calmth, there are plenty of things to do if you like some activity during your holiday: yoga, cooking lessons, boccia, dancing, enjoying musical performances, excursions. There were always enough sunbeds, both beachside as poolside. The coral reef and fishes can be seen both from getting into the water from the beach as from the built platform. There's also always a lifeguard present at the platform to help and guard. In a 10-minute walk over a perfectly paved footpath, you can get to the beautiful Coraya Bay for more snorkeling. Any requests that you have as a guest, you just have to turn to the reception or anyone from the staff and they'll do their best to help you. For exemple Ramadan eating hours we're not 100% within the usual opening times of the restaurant. And so they brought Suhoor to the room at 04h in the morning. We will certainly return soon.

The only thing that could improve a little bit was the food. It was good, but considering how amazing the hotel is, I’m sure they can improve the quality and the variety of the food in the future..

Resort is amazing, rooms are clean, sea view from our room was awesome. Staff were super super nice. Special thanks to Mohammed Goud who made our check in and check out process extremely smooth. The animation team was spectacular, and every night there was a different show. Will definitely return again.
