The housekeeping needs to concentrate more. Phone didn’t work. WiFi was poor when it worked. Tv didn’t work. Safety box was problematic. The mini fridge needed replacing. For the cost of the room, these things should have been detected before my arrival.

One of the most comfortable beds I have ever used! Excellent restaurant at sensible prices. Good location in town beside the river.

1-Security at the entrance were not doing their job. 2-The reception staff were not very welcoming. 3- Room: -Problems with the safe and wardrobe. -Furniture was a bit dated. -poor response to phone from reception 4- Some of the guest would put their clothes out to dry which ruined the shared Nile area in front of the rooms. 5- requested towels to be replaced and had to wait until my towels were washed and returned. 6- requested iron and came without board after requesting twice.

The location directly on the Nile was great. Opposite was the access souk, so you could get supplies on foot. The location was also very good for travelling to more distant destinations by taxi or minibus. An extensive breakfast was served from 6.00 a.m. so that we could start our sightseeing early. And afterwards you could refresh yourself in the pool. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very accommodating so that we could share our room with three people.

Bathroom lighting very dark, noisy in evening on the Nile, main front door very stiff on opening and not much entertainment, not impressed with breakfast bag, not convenient to eat while travelling and pastries very hard. OK for a short stop, does have swimming pool and Italian restaurant, bars and floating restaurant

Nothing much that needs improvement.

Location was quiet and picturrsque being right on the river bank. Always some activity on the water. I was given an upgraded room at no extra cost and this was very clean thanks to Asmaa and Hamdee. Very courteous and attentive staff. The complimentary sunset cruise in one of the hotels boats was anothet bonus. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Drinks are reasonably priced . I would stay here again.

Quality of the bed linen poor. Seems like they were made of polyester (ironic that there were no (egyptian) cotton sheets in an Egyptian hotel. I was hot and sweaty between my body and the sheets almost immediately. New cotton pillowcases and sheets would make a huge difference. Food in restaurant was average - ate both breakfast and dinner there.

Location excellent. Our room was right overlooking the Nile. Staff very helpful - Hedra and Tareq in particular were great.

Cold drinks at breakfast rather poor.

Great Location! Good breakfast food. Good food available at all hours. Plenty of staff available to help. Our room had a good Nile view (and small balcony, but it was too hot most of the time). Good wifi. A/C just good enough (it reached 118 degrees F when we were there, so it had to work hard). Plenty of space. Free sunset cruise (though check carefully as there was some confusion about the time).

The staff did not feel extremely welcoming or caring. The prearranged driver from the airport made a comment about waiting too long, though I provided flight number and also informed about the flight delay still from the Cairo airport. Also in the pool bar or evening bar at the Nile,we had to ask multiple times for menu/drinks or bill. For the price we paid, I’d expect higher level of hospitality

The hotel was ok,the garden view rooms pretty quiet, rooms good size, bathroom would need a bit of renovation, but all within good comfort. The hotel is right on the corniche and ON the Nile, the views in the bar for sunset are a must do before heading to the souk,which is across the busy cornish street. You can also find good food going that direction.

Not much we didn’t like!

Great location, lovely pool and excellent food. The hotel is really good value for money. The rooms are comfortable. They include a fridge and complimentary water is provided on arrival. The staff are helpful. The food on offer is very good and there’s lots of choice for breakfast. We had an early start one day for a trip and the hotel provided us with a great breakfast box to keep us going. You must take advantage of the free one hour boat down the Nile - it was wonderful and totally unexpected. Just buy a couple of drinks on board but there’s no pressure. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The shutters broke to our room a number of times, meaning our balcony was out of action. This had to be repaired a number of times, which became tiresome. The food that we ordered and eaten in the restaurant wasn't the greatest, the breakfast not having the best options and the room service sent over cooked food. Thankfully there were other food options nearby.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hotel itself was sitting by the river, which made it a beautiful setting, with shops nearby and a large market only a few minutes away. The staff were also very friendly and some very happy to assist whenever they could.

The night time staff were very nice and managed to check in a big group very quickly which was great as we were all tired. The pool is a little old but it is big and there is nice food and drinks service by it. Rooms were very modern. I would stay again and it's beautiful right by the water.

Rooms are quite dark and small, but in that way protected from the heat.

Beautiful location directly at the Nile. The beds were very comfortable. Bathroom amenities beyond expectations: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, soap and loofa. Well working shower and spotlessly clean bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. Drinkable water available all day long in the restaurant. The bar had beer and other alcoholic beverages at a reasonable price. The boat station is just next to the hotel.

The rooms are dusty, and AC was making more noise and we could feel its crushing stones and spitting dust instead of cold air. Surrounding noise are easily audible and not so comfortable sleep. Rooms could have been better and neat.
