How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Do not accept any free offers such as free dinner on arrival, it is not free they later bill you. We could have ordered food from somewhere else instead they billed us for food 70 dollars. Shame on our first day
Hello good evening rujina, nice to hear from you this nice review. it was a pleasure hosting you in my hotel . just to explain your not true bad words writing here for me & my hotel you and your family arrived ( in 7 people) and I sent for you a big nice comfortable car as I promised for everyone who booked with me more than for days. when you arrived it was late ( midnight) and I personally welcomed you and you asked me to bring /order food for you. the question was ( Ahmed, could you order food / dinner for us ?, we are hungry and want to eat) so I ordered complete tasty grilled meals (: not one sandwich)+ drinks+ me & my staff service to serve it in your room( for 7 adult people). it was more food than you immagine, you eat and when you finished you sent me SMS spoken well about the food and about our services and harm welcome. when you asked me how much and I said 70$ in total( 10/ person) you said it's expensive/ this your egyptian culture/ mentality to make high prices/ I replied you that the eating I consider it hospitalty so I know we already paid this money but if you wouldn't pay us it's okay for us or if you would pay less is okay for us. you paid the money with pleasure and thanks me for everything before you checked out. about the high prices : for you everything I pronounced is high price.. .take a transfer to drop off ...no it's very expensive.. make tours with us ...no it's very expensive.....evreyhing is expensive second your opinion. so I didn't promise you dinner for free/ I didn't promise you tours for free...I promised a transfer and I did it perfectly from the airport. you had a free transfer pick up arrival and breakfast evrey day and you got the service with pleasure. may be it was m8s understanding from your part. but evrey tourist in the world knows that some services free( included) and some services is not free( is not included) offer means free bring/ order means to be paid. thanks have a nice evening

Verified reviewI absolutely loved this hotel! It was incredibly comfortable, with easy access to everywhere I needed to go. Located right in the heart of the city, it made getting around so convenient, especially when visiting the Pyramids, which were just a short ride away. Despite its strategic location, the price was surprisingly affordable. What impressed me the most was the excellent service and cleanliness. The staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless, and the amenities were well-maintained. Plus, the Egyptian breakfast that was included in the stay was delicious and gave me a taste of the local flavors. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cairo!

Verified reviewI had a fantastic stay at this apartment! The place is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a pleasant visit. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure that all our needs were met. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast served every morning. The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable, the only downside is that the rooms are not very well soundproofed, so you can hear some noise from the street. The location is also perfect—just a 10-minute walk from the Pyramids, which made exploring the area very convenient. On top of that, the price was very reasonable for the quality of service and accommodation provided. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area!

Verified reviewI love that it is near the Pyramids of Giza and the new Grand Egyptian Museum. The room we got was with a balcony and we were able to see the beauty of the Pyramids from sunrise to sunset. The room was also spacious and clean, we had a comfortable stay. Ahmed and his staff were so welcoming and helpful. They all made sure we were safe and had fun at the same time. Highly recommend staying here!
There are times that outside noice is loud that even our room was on the 10th floor you can hear it but we are used to having loud neighbors so if you’re sensitive with that, it might affect your sleep at night.
