Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNo lift - not a real problem for us but something to bear in mind if you can't walk so far. Had to pay separately in cash for alcohol so make sure you take some local currency with you.
great view of the Pyramids - but on the top floor area you have the side screens and then view across the satellite dishes (to be expected I guess!) I feel the best location though! Staff really helpful before and during visit. Great Egyptian food!

IndiaThe kettle in our room didn't work. But we didn't have the time to ask for replacement.
The location is the closest you can get to the Pyramids. Is located next to the entrance, and one can see the inner Pyramids campus road where the internal buses take you around. Recently there's been a change and there are internal shuttles that take you from one pyramid to the other. The restaurant is beautiful to just sit and enjoy the pyramid view - 2 pyramids seen from 4th floor level, roof top seating we can see all 3 Pyramids and the Sphinx. Rooms are basic, which we wouldn't usually book, but since we wanted to stay right in front of the Pyramids for one night, it was good enough. Staff are good. Food and breakfast are okayish.

United Arab EmiratesHowever, there were a few downsides to my stay. The surrounding area was quite dirty, which took away from the otherwise amazing experience. The strong smell of camel and horse manure was unavoidable, especially near the main pathways. While the hotel itself was comfortable, the overall cleanliness of the surroundings left much to be desired.
I chose to stay there primarily for the breathtakingly close view of the pyramids and the convenience of reaching them easily. Waking up to such a stunning sight was an unforgettable experience, and being just a short walk away from the historic site made exploring incredibly convenient. The location allowed me to maximize my time at the pyramids without the hassle of long commutes, making my stay both enjoyable and efficient.

United KingdomI didn't like that they make noise in the hotel next door during repairs until late, although they spoke to them at the hotel and they told them to stop the noise. I also didn't like that at breakfast almost all the food was cold. They should serve hotter and fresher products of the day.
I really liked the location of the hotel, the hotel facilities, the employees Majmud and Salma. and the rest of the staff, all very attentive and friendly. They were very attentive to all the guests, both those at reception and those in the restaurant and those in cleaning as well. The guys at reception speak Spanish, English and French.

United Arab EmiratesThere is strong smell in the vicinity, courtesy the camels and the horses plying in the area
Location is the strongest plus... its located right outside the entry gates to the Sphinx. The roof top restaurant is ideal to view the light and sound show at the pyramids while having dinner, saving some bucks for the tickets.

GermanyThe cleaning was a big issue for me. I am not counting the dust in the room which was totally understandable since you are literally next to the desert. Once you open the window/balcony, it is expected. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, and also the matress had some stains on it. Despite this situation, I still believe that this is the best place to stay in that area. I hope they will improve this issue.
The staff is really nice, all were very helpful. Location is amazing, you are at the entrance to the Necropolis. The rooftop directly facing to the Pyramids, it was amazing. They provided transport for us which was very convenient considering the taxi scams in this region.

United StatesFacilities have seen better days, now you'll find broken toilet seats in the common area restrooms, lights bulbs flicking everywhere, exposed wires and much more unpleasant issues that indicate the hotel has no maintenance plan. Cleanliness was an issue since we found long hair everywhere in the room, including inside the fridge. Breakfast has several options, but most of them don't get touched by guests. Coffee is made in a small coffee maker that runs out quickly. Employees smoke cigarettes inside restrooms, reception desk, etc...
Great location by one of the pyramid site entrances and with view over the three main pyramids and sphinx; thus you can also see the night light show from rooftop restaurant patios. Since we booked two nights, shuttle from airport was included and driver was at Cairo International on time. Hotel features local culture elements in their decor which was nice.

Greeceexcept for one on the front side, all the other rooms have a blind window (can't see anywhere), even the Deluxe ones. We also had trouble finding outlets to charge our devices. The area and surrounds are plagued with roaming street vendors and local merchants that continuously harass you trying to either sell you an item or service of some kind. It was very frustrating to continuously be exposed to this when leaving the safety and comfort of the hotel. WiFi unstable
The hotel area is right in front of the pyramids, you have a very good view from the roof and from some rooms at the front. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially at the rooftop restaurant. We enjoed the view and the food from the terrace

- The view from the rooftop restaurant - Breakfast (there are cooked dishes as well as general breakfast things) - Food at the restaurant (a-la carte menu is affordable, really good smoothies) - Free shuttle from the airport (2 nights stay and more) - Nice interior of the hotel - Many tables on the rooftop - Bathrooms in the rooms are modern

FranceAir condition from outside made terrible noise during one night: i was able to sleep only 3 hours. Wifi was not working in the room. There were three cats on rooftoop terrace in search for food during the breakfast. I had to eat inside. Stray dogs on the streets in front of the hotel. Too expensive compared to prices of hotels in Cairo downtown.
Position is one of the best to visit Giza site: just in front of ticket entrance and in front of sphinx and pyramides. Breakfast was good. Nice view from rooftoop. Checkin was fast. Friendly staff.
