Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceBreakfast wasn’t great, not enough options and quantities. The staff was a bit insistent on booking a tour with them while the pyramids are literally 10min walk from the hotel and there’s a free shuttle inside the complex. They didn’t understand that we didn’t have time for a big tour. Also small details but I booked a triple room for 3 adults and when we arrived there were only 2 bottles of water and 2 bathrobes, they gave us extra but it should make sense. We could hear the noise from the street.
Great location, 10 min walk from the ticket office for the pyramids. Room was big, clean and comfy. Nice rooftop with great view.

SpainNo drinking water is provided in the rooms, No toilet paper in the bathrooms.. The pillows are like rocks ha,ha.
The hotel is in a great location to visit Giza and for tour pick ups. Its also quiet and away from the busy streets. The rooms are modern, large and comfortable. The breakfast is very basic but sufficient for what you need. The roof top pool has great views and nice to cool off in and the roof top dining area has incredible views including of the light show on the evenings these are on.

United KingdomTV was not working despite asking for it to be fixed. Unfortunately we also had a physical accident when getting out of the plunge pool, so we warm others to be careful.
Location and views from the roof top bar, friendly and very helpful staff. They could not be faulted in any way. Breakfast was decent and coffee and service very good.

SlovakiaSome bad reviews here say that there was no cleaning of rooms during their stay. This is true, but if you read the hotel info booklet in your room, it says that you should ask for cleaning if you want. There is no automatic everyday cleaning because of the sustainability reasons what is quite common in hotels everywhere in the world nowadays. There was no toilet paper and not enough towels in one room, but we asked for it and the stuff brought even more pieces than necessary to us immediately. Beds were not very comfortable, but acceptable for few day long stays. Breakfast could be better, but it was sufficient. To sum it up, there were only minor negative aspects which were totally unimportant for us thanks to the extraordinary location, view and super friendly staff. I would definitely recommend the hotel.
Hotel was very nice and clean. The view from the rooftop was brilliant, you can bath in the pool, have breakfast or just sit and drink coffee with the best possible views of the pyramides and the Sphinx you can imagine. You have the feeling you can even touch them! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, no one asked for money for their services as usually in other Egyptian hotels. Everyone had smile on his face. The pool was fine. It did not work on the first day of our stay, but it worked on the second one so we had the possibility to enjoy it. The water temperature was fine. The rooms were nice, we had air conditioners in our rooms which worked well. In reality, the rooms look like the pictures on Booking.com. We really appreciate that after check out, we were allowed to stay at the hotel and use all its facilities because we had a flight late at night. The owner of the hotel offered us a room where we can wait for our flight after check out, have shower, change our clothes and relax for free. We did not use this opportunity, but it was really nice, we did not experience anything like this anywhere in the world before. The price and the quality are more than well balanced here. I definitely recommend the hotel. The price on Booking.com was also the final price for the stay, there were no hidden fees. This is something I really appreciate as well. :)

Good location (it's close to the pyramids, means that the area is accordingly, so you should have the appropriate expectations) and helpful staff! When we said that we want to have a tour the next day, everything was arranged for us. We felt well looked after in this hotel.

AustraliaIt is hard to get uber as hotel in inside giza barrier and taxi/uber cannot get in. You have to walk to busy area, but only 5 minutes walk. The uber drivers all have scams ready. When going to museum, they say road is closed , and costs $10 USD to drive around.... The giza area near entrance is full of people scamming, be careful...but, this is not a poor reflection on the hotel... it is just the area, the people.
The staff were nice. The lady at the front desk was honest, friendly and the restaurant team were also the same. The location. 3 minute walk to giza pyramid entrance. Hotel was very clean.

TurkeyBreakfast was completely disappointment. It was not delicious and there were not many options. I hope staff will aware of this and try to improve options. Beside hotel the environment was creepy and we felt uncomfortable and insecure when we need to go out to see around or buy things. You should be careful about people and try not to communicate that much. We mostly use UBER to get somewhere or Mr. Mohamed helped us about transportation.
Location was great. Very close to pyramids. Me and my wife enjoyed the view everyday in the rooftop. Mohammed from the reception and Ali baba from the restaurant was so nice and help us a lot. If you want to spend a good time and have a historical trip but don’t know where to start you should ask to Ali baba. He will guide you professionally. The room was also nice and comfortable. We had a bathtub right next to window with a pyramid view but we couldn’t open the curtain cuz the other buildings are so close and it’s kinda disturbing for us to use bathtub leaving the carpet open. You can find a souvenir shop, atm and super market right next to hotel. I definitely recommend this place and don’t forget to enjoy the pyramid view in the rooftop with a fresh flavored shisha !!

SwitzerlandThe additional rooftop was in construction at that time (December 2024) and it was therefore not fully secure with no barrier and decent protection with western standards to avoid to fall off the roof. I was particularly not happy the first day with it, as we had a 4 years old kid with us. The additional rooftop seems to be finished, therefore this point should not be valid anymore but I wanted to mention it. Also, the neighbourhood of this hotel (which is close to the egyptian entrance of the Gizeh site) is a bit creepy (alley to access is made of dust and a bit dirty). It is fine in the end but just be aware of it. Finally, at the time, we did not plan to use it but the jacuzzi was broken/not in service as well as some part of the sauna. Pool is not really a pool but more a bathtub. It did not look very clean. As I said again, you pay for what you get and I have the impression that they have it to write on booking.com that they have one pool (and have a nice picture of it as advertisment). Anyway, a pool is not really necessary and therefore don't expect to swim in the front of the pyramids ;)
Great quality/price. In the end, you get what you pay for... Hotel was fine and clean. But don't expect to have a high-level hotel when you pay 50-60$ per night for 2 adults and 1 kid. Breakfast was ok even if you have to wait a bit because this is not a buffet (People will prepare it every morning and it takes up to 20min to get it). Reception people were nice and friendly. I particularly appreciated the fact we got the opportunity to make for free a late check-out as we had our plane in the end of the afternoon and they did let us keeping our room.

We had an unforgettable time exploring the pyramids, Cairo, and Fayoum, with knowledgeable guides who made history come alive. Every driver was punctual, and the vehicle was comfortable, making our travels easy and enjoyable. Communication was excellent, with all details clarified upfront, ensuring no surprises. Highly recommend booking with them if you want a hassle-free, authentic Egyptian experience. We will definitely return!

United KingdomAll points are not really specific to the hotel, but more reflective of the area, which is different from standards we may be used to in England. While it was clean and comfy, it was not new or 'posh'. We did not venture from the hotel alone as we were advised that this may not be safe. The hotel has a lot of steps, so not accessible for people with limited mobility (but nowhere we went was!)
The view to the pyramids and Sphinx is just amazing. Sitting on the roof terrace, watching the sun set behind the pyramids was a memory we won't ever forget! Being so close also meant we didn't spend long in the morning traffic on our trips, so we often beat the crowds (tour guide told us people who stay in Cairo town often spend an hour in traffic!) Staff always on hand to do what ever they could to make us happy, Ali Baba spoke the most English and was particularly helpful all the time! He even sorted us out with a last minute trip on our final day, timing everything in so we could get back in time for our flight home. Food was great, so we never needed to go out looking for restaurant options. We had a family room, 2 king size beds, table and chairs, fridge, kettle, towels, slippers, gown, toiletries etc there wasn't anything we needed that we didn't have, and constant supply of free bottled water throughout our stay.

United KingdomThe omelette station was hit and miss with the staff member ignoring my child so we just didn't ask again. We had some experience of staff trying to upsell constantly, for example breakfast comes with one coffee or tea but we were asked if we wanted to buy a latte or cappuccino instead. One particular member of staff wanted to get as much money out of us as possible. However, this seems to be the norm for Egypt.
Hotel room is lovely, we stayed in a family suite which essentially an apartment, clearly has recently had some good investment as it was new and clean and well designed. A wonderful little sanctuary after being out in the craziness that is Giza. There is obviously a fantastic view of the pyramids here and was one of our main motivations for choosing this hotel. One evening we stayed in the hotel for dinner and the pyramid light show. Food was good but would say it was on the pricier side for what we expected for Egypt at around 4000 Egyptian Pounds for the 4 of us, but obviously we are paying for the convenience of eating in our hotel too. The room had information about a laundry service (we did not use so I can't comment on this service) and there are house rules and general information which is quite helpful. Tea and kettle in the room and water was in the fridge on arrival. Breakfast is a cold breakfast, but a big variety including fries, eggs, breads and vegetables. Reception staff and the manager are very helpful and kind. WiFi was really reliable. Overall, I would recommend this hotel!

CanadaThe location is down an alley. A bit daughtung for the North American traveler. Truthfully most boutique hotels are down alleys so there will be no room view. I knew that but was hopeful.
