I have never felt so emotional when I am leaving a place. Seriously, this place with the people inside is something else. I would like to thank especially Furkan, or Yuda as a nickname, who is a great person ever you can meet in Egypt. He is super helpful with everything. He is like a true friend. My 7 year old daughter had a great time thanks to him and also others. I cannot finish my words easily. I just hope to come back to this paradise again. The location was good as it is in downtown area and the view of the Nile was a plus. The room was okay—nothing fancy, but clean enough. Service was polite, though not as warm or attentive as other places we stayed. Overall, a decent option if you're looking for something simple in Luxor.

There is little natural light, but as I wasn't there most of the day this wasn't an issue. There is a kettle but no tea or coffee to make so bring your own.

The location is perfect, central to everything in Zamalek and not too far from any other attractions in Cairo. They gave me a huge suite which is decorated beautifully in an old Arabic style. The shower is good and hot.

Situated in the quiet western bank of Luxor right next to a beautiful canal, the Old Nile Hotel is a wonderful place to stay at. The rooms are part of a small one-story building, and quite cozy! The "dining room" is a space outside, with cozy benches, tables and covered by large cloths. The manager and his crew are very friendly and hospitable and we even hung out for quite a while. Also, the food they serve is very tasty! All that for a very fair price. Would definitely recommend!

I couldn’t think of one easily, since everything I wanted was available or if I asked for it, it would be in front of me in no time.

This place is a hidden gem! It’s super quiet, with restaurants, shops, and transportation and ferry all within walking distance. You can spend your early mornings or late evenings relaxing on the pond. You can even fish or ask the staff for a short cruise around or take you to the other side of the pond to walk around the banana and palm trees . Don’t miss out on the chef’s authentic food - just make sure to ask him a bit early. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place!

The location is absolutely wonderful, very peaceful and stunning. I had a room overlooking the river, i even was taken fishing! Staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. Absolute gem!

A Lovely Serene Place to Recharge your inner batteries to escape from the Hustle & Bustle of Luxor. Take a boat to the West Bank. It is very easy to get to the otherside. The staff are very accommodating to your needs. They can arrange transport, takeout food, laundry etc.

bathroom water drainage is a problem.when you get shower water goes directly to the room. they should do something about it. air condition is not working. its not so hot when i stay but gonna be a problem at the hot summer days.

I loved my stay in Luxor. The whole team was super nice. They helped me with picking up at the airport, organizing a trip to the West Bank (and sharing the cost with another guest), and with getting a private car to take me to Aswan in the end of my stay. They definitely were responsible for a big part of how happy I was in Luxor and how successful the trip was. I definitely recommend. The room was very nice too and the location is great, very close to the public ferry. I liked the restaurants nearby on the water too.

We really enjoyed the laidback traveller vibe and loved looking out over the pond and banana plantation and seeing all the wildlife. Front of house, Joda, was a fantastic, warm and sensitive host who went out of his way to make sure we had a good stay. Joda and Abdu were really accommodating and helpful, not least swapping our mattress for a more comfortable one. We really liked the murals, both inside and outside the rooms and the seating areas outside. The guesthouse is quiet but within a 7-minute walk of the Nile ferry so getting around is really easy and there are many restaurants nearby. Being on the west bank of the Nile was also a big plus for us as it is calmer and quieter than the east bank.

Super cozy and charming, the room was perfect for us, really comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Everyone who works there are super lovely and friendly. They helped us with everything we needed to get and see, and they gave us really good prices. Real Egyptian hospitality. The food was really tasty and we like it that much that we decided to extend our stay for few days more.
