Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandVery small bathroom. The sourounding is quite dirty and it doesn't smell nice - but it seems to us that it's similar in whole Giza.
Nice hotel with pyramid view from some rooms and roof terrance. Very close to the entrance to the Pyramids Complex. Airport pick up and drop off very smooth. Nice brekfast. Nice swiming pool. The driver for out excursion to Dashur and Sakhara was very fine.

United StatesPower outages. Well, clean and comfortable the hotel provides an authentic Giza experience rather than a high-end tourist hotel.
Noura… the face behind the front desk provided exceptional service. The staff went out of their way to be friendly, and the facility was very accommodating throughout both of our stays. The staff was more than willing to help us with transportation, laundry services, and luggage storage. We also thoroughly enjoyed the view of the pyramids and the sphinx from the restaurant and the rooftop.

AustraliaWe were given an information page on arrival with a qr code for the restaurant menu. When we were given the actual menu at the restaurant the prices were suddenly 50 egyptian pounds dearer. Twice our meals were incorrect and it almost seemed as if it was deliberate so we'd have to order the correct item while still getting charged for the mistake. We were also told there'd be a safe in the room but there wasn't, there'd be coffee but there wasn't nor could I find a remote for the TV. This wasn't an issue for us so I didn't bother asking about it but be aware you might not get everything you expect.
Clean comfortable hotel room very close to the Sphinx gate in Giza. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool area. All staff were lovely, greeted us with huge smiles and we were welcomed back like friends everytime we'd gone out. Breakfast was delicious and served quickly between 7am and 11am and the restaurant was open until midnight. We had dinner every night of our 3 day stay and while the food wasn't spectacular it was pretty good, reasonably priced and there is plenty on the menu to choose from. We were greeted on arrival with a fresh guava juice, a fantastic view of the great pyramids and a chat about tour options (sorry we didn't take up any of the offers, we prefer to explore on our own). Get outside about 8.30am and you'll see the incredible sight of camel teams and horse carts all making their way to work at the pyramids and in the early evening sheep and goats are lead through the street as well. Very cool to see...not so cool to smell or walk the streets after.

AustraliaIt takes a long time to get meals, even if you say you need to leave by a certain time. Everyone is one a different time schedule. Egyptian time.

NetherlandsThere’s a noticeable smell from horses and camels, but I believe that’s common in all hotels around this area due to the pyramid attractions. The shower in our room needs fixing. Adjusting the showerhead for proper water flow was impossible—either due to limescale buildup or a broken head. Showering was uncomfortable, and water splashed and flooded everywhere despite the curtain. One thing that made me uncomfortable and I wanted to mention it, so this can be addressed with right person. Before heading to the city center, the staff (lady) at reception asked if we needed anything, and we requested more toilet paper. When we left our room, my suitcase was wide open with all my stuff out - clothes, make up, souvenirs =food. I like to buy food souvenirs, especially when titles are fun, for my friends, and I had 4 waffles (“Rave” in a dark blue package), yet when I came back, I noticed, that one was missing. It only cost about 20 cents, so I didn’t bring it up at reception because it felt silly, yet I was upset because it was taken without permission. I don’t know if housekeeping took it as "tip", since they brought something to the room and in Egypt they asks tips for everything (even when giving you toilet paper in public WC's) or thought no one will notice, but regardless of the value, taking something that isn’t yours is not okay. I understand that tipping is important in Egypt, but I hope people realize that true generosity comes back naturally. Tourists shouldn’t be treated based on stereotypes. Every person represents themselves as an individual. Forced tips makes people uncomfortable, while kindness without expectations creates more joy.
We had a wonderful stay! The hotel offers a breathtaking view, especially from the top floor, where the pyramids look truly magical. The staff at reception and breakfast were incredibly kind and welcoming. Our 3-night stay started perfectly with a complimentary airport pickup, which we really appreciated. Getting around was easy with Uber, making our trips hassle-free. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, with three delicious options—we were able to mix and share, which was great! On our departure day, the staff kindly let us store our bags, which was a thoughtful touch.

United KingdomOnly down side was the wet room shower and slow drainage in bathroom. A squeegee/ rubber mop in bathroom would help.
Thoroughly enjoyable 6 night stay, with lots to like. Room was spacious and quiet (overlooking pool), staff members all friendly and extremely helpful. Location suited being minutes away from the Pyriamids and an inexpensive Uber ride away from old Cairo (and anywhere else!). Enjoyable breakfast overlooking the Pyriamids in the morning and seeing them flooded by light in the evenings when we went for dinner, or from upper balcony. Value for money wise, would return

Best taken on the rooftop with panoramic view of the Giza pyramids in the morning sunshine. Hotel has refreshing pool and helpful staff. Amir went beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable!

United KingdomNothing I disliked really never moaned about anything, probably a few trip hazards around the hotel in and out of lift etc..
Helpfulness, having a dip pool was a bonus, closeness to the pyramids, actually being in giza etc, and setting up of trips, and being just far enough out of main town to get the atmosphere of travelling around ,also the quality of the guide they supplied was awesome , Mohammad and obida....and all the little extras we got, great
