Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

EthiopiaThey did not speak much English so checking in and out was a hustle. The food is VERY OVERPRICED water was 1USD per bottle but tastes basic and bland at times. Breakfast options also limited. Make sure you ask for a pyramid view rooms the standard rooms are very tiny and have little natural light.
It has a stunning view of the pyramid and close by if you want to go visit the pyramid. Amenities are also modern and clean. Hotel staff friendly.

PolandThe district around the hotel is quite local, and tourists may get a bit too much attention there (you get a lot of it in egypt anyway). I dont mean it's dangerous, it's just not fun after a while. If you use taxi/uber or just plan to spend a night or two between your sightseeing trips, the hotel is still a perfect place. On the very top terrace (not at the pool side), there is quite a loud fan right now, but I believe it will be replaced soon.
An unforgettable view on the pyramids really does the job. Rooftop with the pool can be both place for relaxation and fun. Just ask the rooftop manager Hassan for the atmosphere you want to get. Apart from that, it's nice and clean, I got some good sleep and good breakfast there before exploring Cairo and her surroundings. If you need cash, shop, medical store, you can find it near the hotel.

AustraliaBathrooms in apt was glass walled and even with the blinds was very exposed so using it for toileting and showering involved communication in group or even leaving room to give someone privacy.

United KingdomIt was clean, AC, 24 hour reception, and big bathrooms with hot water. The restaurant was really great! The staff were lovely, the food was excellent and the view of the pyramids was unreal. Would definitely eat here again! The breakfast was also really good, lots of fresh options and some Egyptian staples to try, really good value for money! Carrefour a short walk away. Very close to the pyramids and the grand Egyptian museum (we walked to the latter, though prepare to cross a couple of crazy roads). The pillows weren't comfy, too hard for us personally. The pyramid tour we booked through the hotel wasn't good (we've had great ones booked through reliable companies at a better price) so just book this yourself. It's very loud in the corridors at night for some reason? Maybe we just got unlucky with the guests on our floor but maybe some rugs are needed to absorb sound.

United KingdomWhilst the staff at reception were not the best I’ve come across, they were perfectly adequate. However, the staff at the roof terrace/pool/restaurant were truly fantastic. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable and went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. Hassan was a real superstar as were several others.

United KingdomGood location, nice rooms, nice facilities. Room had no Window and it was not said that there is 0 view... Also, the restaurant area is need serious development. Lack of food choices, workers are not interested. First days we asked for Orange juice, after they say they dont have it, then asked for alternative, they said they have nothing. The manager came and asked as what we would like to drink - áll the sudden they had Everything... Day after we asked again for a drink, they said they are bring it soon. Never happened. On the way out they said they will give it right away, never mind, it is been more than 1 hour already. For desserts áll they have sometimes is just an ice cream. Based on other feedbacks on the restaurant i have to agree with them. Other than that, the hotel is nice.

FranceThe breakfast wasn't that exciting for western options, I ended up having Egyptian aubergines and beans for breakfast instead and those were great. There is some building works directly across the road, that is for the upcoming metro station/line.
Great value, the staff was very welcoming and nice. Additionally, they can organise taxis and excursions. The rooftop has incredible views of the pyramids.

United KingdomVery minor things that did not affect our stay and I know would have been sorted out if we had told the staff. - Only 1 bath towel in a twin room with 2 guests - The shower would only go lukewarm Also no deserts were available at the restaurant.
Myself and a friend stayed here for one night to see the pyramids. We had a taxi pick us up from the airport which was arranged by Amr in the hotel. The taxi took about an hour from the airport due to heavy traffic and the price to/from the airport is $25. We chose to pay this with card at the hotel. All of our payments at the hotel were taken in EGP and the taxi worked out as egp1,325. The hotel itself is very nice, check in was easy and we paid the price we expected to pay through booking.com. There were no extra charges or pressure to tip anyone at any point in our stay. Our room was also very nice, tidy and modern in design. The road is very loud outside but we could not hear it from the room. The staff at the hotel are all very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Amr was very helpful and checked with us if we wanted to book any excursions. We had dinner at the hotel and the price was very reasonable, we did not pre-pay the €20pp for dinner, we picked off the menu once there (menu is written in euro but we were charged in EGP) I had pesto pasta from dinner and my friend had pizza. The service was excellent and the restaurant staff took time to engage with us and make us feel welcome. The pool is not heated yet so we were not brave enough to use it but it is open 24 hours. I didn’t realise there is a massage service available at the hotel when booking, but we met a man called Hamman who told us about the massages he does. He did tell us the prices which I can’t remember, but the prices were very reasonable. He spent a while chatting to us about Cairo and where we are from etc. Sadly we did not have time for a massage as we were waiting for our taxi to the airport. Thank you for a pleasant stay, we would definitely recommend your hotel to others travelling to Cairo. We found the people or Cairo to be very friendly in and out of the hotel and we really enjoyed. HungaryThe water in the pool was very cold. Their taxi price to and from the airport is 4-5 times more than an Über. The location is very noisy but good to the Pyramids.
The view to the Pyramids from the roof restaurant and pool area is wonderful. The food was nice and the supply was satisfactory. The room with 3 beds is spacious and comfortable, just like the bathroom. The staff was very helpful regardless what we asked for. The hotel is clean. They have massage service which is nice.
