Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CyprusThe location is fantastic once you are in. Currently the whole area is being rebuilt and the small street the hotel is located is not the prettiest street of Cairo. I am sure in the next years this whole area will be transformed due to the museum sitting across. Remember you cannot walk to the museum from accommodation as a highway is in the between.
Fantastic view and very clean accommodation. Personnel was fantastically helpful! Very kind very accommodating.

10 star experience all around. The service from the staff was top notch - they were so welcoming, helpful and went above and beyond with the little things to really create an all around beautiful experience. The breakfast was delicious every morning. The rooms are very cozy and very clean. And the views were incredible.

United KingdomWhilst the location is great, getting around isn't as easy as it should be. You are 500m as the crow flies from the GEM but there is a main road between you and it, which necessitates the use of a cab. A footbridge would be perfect - but alas!! Obviously, this isn't something the hotel can do anything about - but travellers should ensure they have a SIM card and thus access to Uber. This will make your stay here more pleasant.
The room was clean and spacious. The hotel was located close to the Pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum. All staff were really great. A special mention to Alaa - her English is outstanding and she provided a lovely welcome, big smile and great information on our arrival. The roof terrace offers views over the pyramids and GEM and the breakfast served was really good too. I would absolutely stay here again.

SpainWe stayed at this hotel in a room with three beds, which was very new and clean. The location is excellent, right in front of the new museum, with a terrace where we had breakfast while enjoying a view of the museum and the pyramids. The service was friendly, and the access areas have an Egyptian-style design. The price was reasonable, and the breakfast was excellent.

CyprusOn the downside, I can say that the hotel is located near a busy highway, which is in front of the New Museum, and the surrounding area is not very clean. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend walking around the area; it’s better to take a taxi, which is what we did. These drawbacks were offset by the staff's attitude and the room's amenities. I should also mention that there are no shops or restaurants nearby, so that’s something to consider.
We stayed with our family for 2 nights at the hotel. We really appreciated the attitude of the staff, who treated us like family. Firstly, they immediately offered to pick us up from the airport as part of the 2-night booking package. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, a driver from the hotel was waiting for us. We didn’t have to pay anything extra. At the reception, we were warmly welcomed, and the room was clean. The hotel has undergone good renovations, and what you see in the photos on Booking.com matches reality. The hotel offers a very good breakfast. They also helped us find a driver for the whole day to take us around the sights. I can say that we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, especially the staff's attention and care.

United KingdomThis area is under development so we didn’t want to spend time outside the hotel which was quite run down but you can easily get an uber anywhere you want to go. Note you can’t walk to the museum from here due to the main roads

CanadaThere are dinner options available, but to be honest, expensive compared to other restaurants. We dined at the hotel our first evening and it was okay, just okay.
This new little hotels is a gem...no pun intended. Huge delicious breakfast served with warm smiles. All staff members are so kind.. Mu, Ahmed, Alia, Talia..sorry if I am leaving anyone out because all were above and beyond. Our biggest challenge is that being a newer property some Uber drivers struggled to find it...Guest House staff got on the phone to help drivers find their way so problem solved! Fairly priced and nicely decorated, quiet for the most part.. busy road running by the GEM but traffic noise not nearly as loud as downtown Cairo. If you want to concentrate on the stunning new museum and Giza Pyramids this is a great spot. Oh, and the nice staff encourage staying hydrated with water at no extra charge.
