We had an amazing stay at New Abu Simbel Hotel—by far the best experience we’ve had in Egypt. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The whole place has a more relaxed, warm vibe than anywhere else we visited in Egypt, which made our time here especially memorable. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, and the food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious. We can’t recommend this place highly enough—if you’re visiting Abu Simbel, spend a night or two here. It’s the perfect way to experience the town beyond just the temples.

Incredible friendly and personal service. It was really exceptional and it´s rare to find. VERY good breakfast and so tasty food in the restaurant. Try the fresh juices! Thanks to Ali (and all the other stuff members) it was an incredible stay in Abu Simbel. And, just to tell it to former visitors, we are the ONLY visitor in the Abu Simbel temples! Highestly recommended (and I do not exegerate)!

This hotel was a really nice surprise, fairly modern and with very welcoming staff. Our room was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed during our stay. We also particularly enjoyed the food at the restaurant, having tried both breakfast and lunch. Even if you do not stay at the hotel, you can go just for the restaurant itself!

Taiwanshower has no door or curtain to avoid water splashing everywhere, but it was just one night, I could live with it.
Staffs were all very nice and welcoming! I think it was probably the manager (sorry I forgot his name...), was very passionate and cared about our stay. Room was big enough for two, clean and comfy. Restaurant quality was just great, no complain at all, we had dinner and breakfast over there, portion was a lot but they were so yummy so I couldnt help but finished all of them, worth the price! Highly recommande to stay here when you are visiting Abu Simbel temple!

United StatesThe shower was a bit small in the bathroom, but they had a bathmat for the water overflow. Everything else was fine. The room and hallway were very clean, as well as the lobby area and restaurant.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Mohammad the owner met us and told us it was our second home. They provided transportation from and to the airport. Ali took me to the pharmacy on the tuktuk for medication I needed for my husband, and then took my husband and I to Abu Simbal temple in the afternoon and to the light show later in the evening. It was fun taking the tuktuk. The restaurant was excellent. The breakfast and lunch was delicious. I ordered the grilled whole fish and it was the best I've ever had. We were disappointed we were unable to take the sunset boat tour that the hotel offered due to time constraints, but enjoyed the light show at the temple.

We are so lucky that we decided to stay at Mohammed's amazing hotel. He has created something special in Abu Simbel. The hotel room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated (as is the entirety of the hotel - with local Nubian artwork and furnishings). The bathroom is spacious and has a great shower. The restaurant takes up most of the ground floor and is first rate. We ate tilapia for dinner and Nubian omelette, along with a host of other accompanying dishes, for breakfast. Everything was delicious. While the hotel itself is fantastic, what really stood out to us was the attention to detail and the high level of service we received from each and every member of staff - from Hamo and Ali in reception, our waiter at breakfast and dinner and to Mohammed himself who could not have done more to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. He organised a car to pick us up from Aswan and drop us there again. It was a brand new SUV and the driver was entirely professional. He also organised a sunset boat ride in front of the temple on his own boat, captained by the charming Mr Ali - which was an absolutely fabulous experience. Additionally, he personally showed us around Abu Simbel (which is a charming little town). We are already discussing our next trip to Abu Simbel with Mohammed and he will take organise a beach picnic on his boat and a stay in a tent in the desert. We really cannot wait to go back.

It was the best place we have stayed at so far in Egypt! What an amazing place with the friendliest staff that do everything they can to make your stay perfect and magical in every way! I’m so glad we stayed here, I never expected the level of service and care that we were given from the moment we were picked up from the airport to being dropped back off the next day. The rooms are new, clean and stylish like the rest of hotel. The food at the restaurant was amazing, loved the fresh juices too and the staff went above and beyond to make our short stay filled with sweet memories! I want to go back again and spend more time, nice place to rest and chill after all the busy sightseeing in Luxor and Aswan. They make you feel like family and I can’t wait to go back again! Loved the special sunset boat ride, and thanks especially to their staff member Ali for catering to us and making every moment of our short stay so memorable :)

Everything is absolutely perfect. Such a warm welcome from the owner. The hotel was just as expected—designed in a Nubian style. The rooms were distinctive, beautiful, clean, and safe. The staff were lovely and took great care of us, especially Ali, who coordinated everything and recommended various tourist spots. We were most impressed by him. Ali became like a friend and younger brother to me. We truly felt happy with the warm welcome from the owner and his daughter. Everything, including the ride and the sunset trip to Abu Simbel Temple, was wonderful. They were very kind and friendly—this place felt like a second home to us. The food was delicious, especially the omelet, which reminded us of home after being away for over seven days. Highly recommended—everything was truly excellent and won’t disappoint.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the New Abu Simbel Hotel & Restaurant. Very well received by Ali, a very friendly employee, that made sure this was our "second home", it couldn't be better!! Starting from the very nubian design and very clean rooms, all was taken care of, including transportation to/from the Abu Simbel temple, sunset boat trip with the owner Muhammad, that explained details of the Nubian culture, also left us for the night light show at the temple. We still had a delicious & legitimate fresh Nile tilapia cooked to perfection at his restaurant. A gourmet heaven!! We highly recommend this place !!!

We had a great stay at New Abu Simbel Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Muhammad and Ali took very good care of us in particular. They went out of their way to make sure our expectations for Abu Simbel were met. Ali drove us to and from the temple multiple times, walking us to the entrance and making sure we knew where to go. When we were done with our visits, he was available to come pick us up. We also did a lovely sunset boat ride with Ali for an additional fee. The food at the restaurant was good and fresh. Breakfast was included, but we were also able to eat lunch there. The property is new, clean, and a good location for visiting the Abu Simbel temple. The room was comfortable and clean with good AC. The shower pressure and temperature was good. If you are visiting Abu Simbel, definitely stay here, you won’t regret it.
