I had a great week-long stay at this centrally located hotel in Aswan. It was easy to find, and the host kindly helped arrange my arrival from the airport. The hospitality really stood out—one evening they brought okra dip and bread, another time an Egyptian tea, and on a few mornings I woke up to bananas and bread left by the door. They even provided a desk and chair for me to work remotely and added extra cushions on the firm mattress to make it more comfortable—super thoughtful! The air conditioning worked well, the WiFi was fast and mostly reliable (only a couple of dropped meetings out of dozens), and the host was always available on WhatsApp to help with check-in and anything else I needed. It’s a great value for the money, and I really appreciated the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Very welcoming host and helped arrange two tours for me. I used one whole room to get rest. Shared bathroom was clean. Shared kitchen had utensils, fridge, laundry machine, etc. The location is also great to see the area.

The location is perfect, very nearby to the city centre and all the attractions of Aswan. The owner converses very well in English, so communication won't be an issue. He arranged a cab for us at affordable rates, extremely helpful and professional.

The rooms aren't particularly fancy, but they are worth their price. We had a slightly negative experience with a one-way tour to Luxor we had booked through the Guest House. I don't think it's the host's fault, but still, there had been some communication issues that made the trip not so pleasant.

Good location and value for money. The communication with the host was rather smooth, even if he was sick.

Noisy foreigners staying at the hotel. ;). All of the Egyptians are super nice. If you can speak a few words of Arabic to the cleaning ladies, you will be rewarded by huge smiles. Didn’t not-like anything.

I always stay in backpacker hostels and this is a good one. The owner Mustafa speaks English extremely well and could not be better. All of the staff are great.

We had a great stay and Mustafa is great, lovely to speak with. We liked the location, the wifi was good, nice and central location. Easy to see Aswan from here. Mustafa gave us great tips for Aswan and what are fair prices. Thankful we could use the washing machine too. Staying here made our stay nice and easy :) thanks for having us!

There was a fair amount of noise coming in from the street (which of course was outside the control of the management). For a side sleeper the bed was a little hard

Inside, the place was well organized and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, even to the point of doing my laundry. Though the entrance was shabby, this place is a hidden gem, and excellent value for money!
