Not anything that I personally disliked here. With such an amazing prices of the rooms and tour services is definitely worth it. And as the location is a bit old, so unfortunately there wasn't a lift present but the staff helped with my luggage. One thing I want to tell every tourist is that, please be aware of scammer here in Egypt, fact check everything before you buy anything, check for reviews of specific shops on onljne. Just keep these things in your mind when you visit. Happy travelling) Shukran Gidden Mr Momoud and Farag)

It was my first time in Egypt as a solo traveller from The UK, and for me, the experience was exceptional. For the price and the location of the hotel, it is definitely worth every single penny. The staff is so friendly and prompts fast service in whichever situation. Whenever you need them, they are always available. The terrace on top is simply pwrfect for amazing view of the pyramids not all nine but you can have a selfie with such angle where all the major ones in the background will be there without too much space between each of them. As the property is family owned, they treat their guests with utmost respect, and you definitely feel home.. The owner helps you with everything, whatever you need and not to mention their agent. Farag is a very kind human being I have met in Egypt. I'm so glad I booked this hotel. Because of him I did most of the tours in cairo with the least money as I was a bit tight on my budget but a private tour with him was truly exceptional from the great pyramids to the museums to khan el khalili, all credit goes to him and the hotel owner. I will definitely come back here as I didn't have much time to enjoy. Thanks for having me)

The location is a little hard to find, there are no obvious signs, so you’d better contact the host in advance.

This hostel has a nice view of the pyramids and the room is clean. The host is very friendly and easy to communicate with. He also provides free mineral water and coffee. Pretty nice!

The flat is in the 4th floor so lots of stairs, so be ready for that, but that’s the price for the amazing view 😉 As with most hostels in Cairo the location is difficult to find from the street, so contact the host upfront to sent you the exact location or meet you downstairs.

It’s a very comfy and large room with a shared bath. There are only 3 rooms in total so there was never a queue when I was there. You can use the kitchen - free coffee, tea, fridge etc - and the living room as if it was your home. The host is very nice and always offering help. But the best thing is the view from the rooftop terrace right above the hostel. Best views of the pyramids. So the whole stay is great value for money.

I highly recommend this place. First of all, I got a private room with keys, clean sheets and a towel, which I didn’t expect because, as a hostel, I was sure I would be sharing a room with others. The rooftop is super chill, with a stunning view of the pyramids – perfect for a quiet morning coffee. The kitchen was fully equipped, so you could even cook there. The bathroom had a bathtub, and the water was hot and flowed consistently, which isn’t always the case in hostels, based on my experience. Secondly, breakfast was included, and after one portion, I was full enough that I didn’t need to buy anything for lunch. Lastly, the owner who managed the hostel was so lovely, kind, and helpful. He spoke good English, which made it easy to connect with him, get some advices and have conversations on various topics.

Nobody ever asked me what time I prefer breakfast. When it was finally brought, Unfortunately, a piece of bread with 2 slices of cheese inside isn’t a proper breakfast. Better don’t provide anything then!

This is a fantastic place with an excellent view of the pyramids. It feels so cozy and like it is your own nicely decorated apartment. The room is nice and bed is cozy. You do have to share bathroom but it was never an issue. I wish I could have stayed more nights.

Mahmoud, the owner, is a kind person, and I'm so grateful for his help. After sightseeing, I returned to the hotel feeling hot and sweaty, but Mahmoud kindly allowed me to take a shower and rest for a while. The room was comfortable, and the AC worked well. The Wi-Fi was also the best compared to other hotels I've stayed in. Thank you so much, and hopefully, I'll be back soon, Inchallah!

    None

I think this is the best place to stay near the Pyramid. Affordable price and you get a spacious and clean room. Plus, A/C inside the room was also in a good condition which make the room getting cool very fast. Bed, bed sheet, pillows, blanket were all perfect! The owner was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast also amazing. One small thing that I like the most is the owner and his family always refill bottles of water in the refrigerator which is really appreciated! The rooftop also has a great view of all three pyramids. And there're also lots of nearby shops and restaurants. Highly recommended for a solo traveler!

Indoor smoking is allowed. The downside about the tour that I booked through the hotel was that you cannot expect getting egpytian price staying with the driver and you cannot believe him. The driver took some commission fee. On giza pyramids, he said 15 dollars is a very good egyptian price for a camal ride. I was asked to give the money to the shop owner, who is his friend, not the camal owner or anyone. The next day I was helping my friend get a camal and I could do that in 9 dollars, which should be still overpriced. I don't believe that a beteran driver like him wouldn't know the real price. I asked the driver if he could help me buy a cheap hat. He took me to a shop with a 700 pounds hat. I said I want a super cheap one, even second-hand is okay, and we went to another shop with 500 pounds hat. He said that this is the best deal he can make. I bought that but the next day I saw the same hat sold in markets in only 50 pounds. Plus, he is just a driver, not a tour guide. You can hire a driver for a day with 25 dollars if you transact directly. Other hotels ask 60 dollars(with a tourguide-not driver) per person.

Excellent hotel. The room was nice and clean. Mahmoud, the hotel owner, was very kind. He bought me a sim card and helped me get a better deal for the Bahariya desert tour(i could save 20 dollars. 110->90). He also drove me to ATM when I needed to withdraw egyptian pounds. Free luggage storage and late check in was generous. Overall, I am very satisfied with the hotel, and recommend going here. Below are some things that I wish other tourists know. (1) airport cab He calls a cab to the airport on request. It's 10 USD. You can, of course, get a cab with Uber or in drive with only 5 dollars. But wifi doesn't work in the airport, and the sim card needs some time to activate. You might have to pay 25 dollars if you try to negotiate. Other hotels offer a ride in 20 dollars(absurd). His deals are usually better. (2) room I booked a single room and the bed was big enough for 2 people. The room was clean. The AC is working well. Free laundry machine and kitchen were awesome. Bathroom is shared. No shampoo. One drawback is indoor smoking. There was a smoking place right in front of my room and the smoke would come into my room. The electricity sometimes gets out, but it's not the problem of the hotel. I heard that the government shuts down electricity for like an hour a day for some reason. (3) booking tour I booked two tours through the hotel. One, Bahariya desert tour. It was perfect. His offer was cheaper than any other. I had a brilliant experience. Second, private Giza Sakarra Memphis tour. It cost 40 USD per car. It was so-so. The bright side was that I could go to papyrus or carpet places and have new experience besides seeing the pyramids.
