Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

EgyptThe property’s entrance doesn’t represents the hotel well, yet if you don’t care about luxurious looks then that won’t even bother you.(for me it wasn’t a big deal)
The property’s suff is so welcoming. They always offer their help. They were eager to help anytime even after midnights. The room was clean and smelt good. I would definitely stay at this hotel if i visited cairo again.

SerbiaYou need to keep in mind that you’re in Cairo, the streets are just the way they are, it can get dusty and there can be rubbish on the streets. The tipping culture is present so it’s evident that the staff expects tips and they service you without asking but they expect tips in return. One girl at reception even tipped herself without asking (she bluntly lied that we owe 15$ instead of 12$ and that 15$ equals to 900 Egyptian pounds which isn’t true, it equals 750 Egyptian pounds). On the night we came, we were offered two different rooms (triple room without a balcony or double room with balcony) but neither were the room we booked (triple room with balcony). We were then upgraded to the better room just because the lock wasn’t working in one of the rooms. They say you can reach the reception by calling 0 but the phone wasn’t connected at first. Also we didn’t receive breakfast two out of four nights because one time they were late with breakfast and we had to leave before the breakfast came, and the other day they just didn’t bring it and didn’t even apologize or mention the breakfast. These are kinda small omissions, but they make the difference in the perception of the hotel and the whole experience especially in a country where it isn’t really that safe and everyone is trying to find a way to scam you. We would probably give them an 8 if it was Europe, but we won’t just because we don’t believe it isn’t much better anywhere else so this was overall a good value for the price and overall experience. We would recommend it to everyone, this was only a feedback for the hotel and something that they can easily change to be a perfect 10 :)
Location, near restaurants and grocery stores. Room was spacious and new. Mats were very comfortable. We felt quite safe during our visit when we were in the room. Even if it’s not the best, the view of the pyramids is good enough. There is a mosque next to it which is also very pretty (if you don’t mind being woken up by prayer each sunrise). The location was perfect for being picked up for the daily trips (pyramids, Memphis/Saqqara and Dashur) and were are Ubers nearby.

South AfricaThe breakfast is not amazing but eatable the entry to the building is quite dirty and sketchy could do with some signage but once you in the lobby it's great
The staff were extremely accommodating the location at first seems bad but if you can deal with abit of dirty streets there's some good food and shopping places around, the pyramid view is not the greatest but it's something. For the price would definitely recommend 👌.

TurkeyThe entrance of the building seems a bit sketchy but nothing to do with the hotel itself.
The hotel and room are super clean, staff is young and very friendly. Taking into account how Giza is, the hotel is in a safe and far from the harassing from vendors part. Also, it’s easy to find ubers from the hotel as it is located on a main street.

GermanyThere’s no automatic cleaning in the room, we got asked if we wanted the room cleaned and gave the key at the reception as we were told, but when we got back in the evening nothing had been cleaned or tidied up. There is no breakfast hall and you have to eat on your bed since there also no real table in the room, breakfast was almost an hour late on the first two days even if we asked repeatedly to have it at 8 since the Tours started at 9 am and on the first day we only got two breakfasts plates even as we said we were three people.
The room was very clean on arrival, the staff friendly but disorganised. The tours they offered to the pyramids, Alexandria and to old Cairo were quite good.

Two stays at this hotel: - a 1st stay of 3 nights - a 2nd stay of 1 night. During our 1st stay: - water cut twice, once all night; - The breakfast did not include any drinks, was served late after our arrival in the restaurant and did not deserve the praise written in the comments; - The wifi does not work; - a room for 4 people made up of 3 single beds - towels and toilet paper not provided (had to ask) - the water in the shower doesn't drain properly

Côte d'IvoireI am disappointed by the overall experience in this establishment. As soon as we arrived, the welcome at the reception was particularly unpleasant. We were charged for a superior room, but we were finally assigned a standard room, explaining that a guest in the superior room had missed his flight and that we could change rooms as soon as he left the next day. This change never took place, without any explanation or commercial gesture. In addition, the Wi-Fi connection was almost non-existent, which made our stay even more uncomfortable. The location of the hotel is also a real weakness: very far from the city centre, it is difficult to move from one place to another without wasting a lot of time. The only real asset of this hotel remains the breathtaking view of the pyramids. Apart from that, the service does not follow. Even breakfast, which is not offered as an all-you-can-eat buffet, lacks variety and generosity.
Only Pyramid view.
