Our swim-up room was the highlight: peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxing right outside our door. The atmosphere of the entire hotel was calm and elegant, and the staff were consistently helpful, kind, and professional-always making sure we had everything we needed. We especially loved the restaurant by the pool-it became our go-to place each day. The food, the setting, and the service there made every meal feel special. Overall, it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable stays we’ve had. We felt truly taken care of and would come back without hesitation. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-quality getaway.

United StatesThe hotel was at 90% capacity and it was clear that they just did not have enough staff to meet demand, especially in the dining areas. The staff were excellent, but they were literally run off their feet. The restaurants also all need more baby high chairs - we often had to wait or hold our 10 month old on our lap while eating which, combined with the insufficient number of wait staff, made for long, messy and somewhat chaotic mealtimes. Both of these issues can be easily fixed - and likely will be as they make adjustments. We also initially had an issue with our room - we booked a sea view family suite but were given a room looking onto the back end of the neighboring hotel, with a sliver of a sea view through their restaurant terrace. Though this was quite different than the photo, they insisted that this was a sea view room. After further discussion, we were moved to an actual sea view room the second day - but the two rooms shouldn’t have been in the same category in the first place.
The entire resort is impeccably designed, which makes it both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable and functional. Everything is designed so that people can enjoy activities without interfering with anyone else. For example, the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well-arranged; there is both an active pool area with waterside and a quiet adult-only poor; there is nightly evening entertainment but the noise is projected away from the rooms so that those who want to rest can rest. The staff deserve a special mention - they are true professionals striving for excellence. They were also extremely friendly and helpful with young kids. The location is beautiful - it’s well worth it to wake up for the sunrise. We also enjoyed snorkeling along pristine reefs (though the water was a bit chilly in early May) and there is a PADI dive school on site. We also really appreciated the other guests - during our entire stay I did not witness any rude or inconsiderate behavior, including directed at staff, from the other guests (save *one* woman who had loud speakerphone conversations). People were there to enjoy their vacation and allow everyone else around them to also enjoy theirs. While not a ‘family resort,’ the resort is family friendly and there were lots of families there with babies or young kids (but, again, the kids were pretty well behaved and non-families also got to relax and enjoy their vacations).

ItalyThey use filtered water so you won’t have bottles of water to carry around. Even if someone of the staff will always bring it to you, it would be helpful if water was more available to the guests (like a water station).
The hotel is the best of the jazz group by far. Every single person of the staff is nice and helpful.

Czech RepublicVery loud due to children and selfish parents. Would appreciate if the hotel dedicated an adults only section to the buffet restaurant to have some quiet for dinner. The noise and kids running around make the hotel feel more cheap. There is an “adults only” pool in the hotel which saved our vacation, because the main pool is just too full of screaming kids and you cannot get any rest… The cocktails are made from local alcohol, but that isn’t too much of a problem.
Brand new property, very beautiful. The big swimming pool for adults only is a plus, the beach offers absolutely stunning diving. We saw turtles and a dugong! After 10 am you will see 10-20 tourist boats come near the hotel for diving. The staff always asks for feedback, are very helpful and try their best. The yoga, pilates or stretching classes on the beach are amazing. The food is very good quality, the buffet and asian a la carte is the best.

SwitzerlandAs a constructive feedback I would recommend to improve the wines. “House wine” was unfortunately really not good and the choice of wine by extra charge limited. It would be very nice to have an EU (Italian, French) wine list (of course by extra charge) that includes champagne because during holiday this is really and added value ;) Beside that, WiFi could be improved (in the room tv was freezing for minutes…). In the gym some heavy weights could be added (the space is fantastic and could easily be improved, eg with a barbell). Those all are just nice “on top” improvements that could elevate even more this nice hotel ;)
We had a fantastic week over Easter break! We came back to Egypt after 10y and our stay exceeded the expectations! The hotel is brand new, with many restaurants, pools, activities. Waiters at all restaurants were very kind, quick and helpful. Employees at reception were very useful and ready to help at any moment with any kind of question. Animation was also good with many offers for every age. What positively impressed me the most is: -very nice garden with plants and flowers very nicely maintained. -All furniture (reception, restaurants, pools, beach) was very nice and with an elegant touch.

SwitzerlandIt was my first stay in a all inclusive resort. The hotel and the the garden was very beautiful and well kept. Eventhough i think it is a bit crazy having such a colourful garden in dry country like egypt. I liked how the sunbeds specially at the pool were placed between plants, so it never felt crowded. It was very peacfull. i enjoyed specally the beach, where you can snorkel with turtles. I even wass lucky to see de Dugong. Sadly a lot of daily tour boats were there as well, and as soon as the dugong appeared a big crowd fallowed him around. The food at the buffet was good, the buffet it self looked very pretty. I enjoyed the Spa Service alot, i had a fantastic full boby massage and a pedicure. Of corse, they want to sell you their service, but they were never to pushy. The staff in generall is friendly, some were specially friendly and happy to help, others could need a bit more motivation. All in all i had a great stay, very relaxing and i would stay there again if i`m back in Port Ghalib

United KingdomWhat an amazing stay and hotel. I’ll start with the negative, and there’s only one, the beds are very hard and the plastic mattress topper is noisy but that’s the only negative I have about the Riviera, oh and the fact the flight back to the UK doesn’t land till 2am and there’s only one flight a week but this obviously isn’t the hotels fault. The hotel and staff were incredible, the food was unbelievably good and the weather equally as good. We stayed at the Amara last year so decided to try the Riviera this year and it didn’t disappoint. From the moment booking the hotel Hady was brilliant replaying to our messages and sorting us out the most incredible swim up room. We ate at the beach restaurant every breakfast and lunch and the team there were fantastic, I just want to say ‘cheers mate’ to Ibrahim from the restaurant who really looked after us all week. We already knew how good snorkelling in the bay was, and on the last mornings snorkel we got to see the dugong!! Well def be coming back
