How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewI had a brilliant stay at Jasmine Pyramids Hotel! The location was perfect for my itinerary during the week I was visiting. It was exceptional value for money, and I really felt part of a home, thanks to the enclosed and comfortable arrangement in the compound and the wonderful hospitality of all the staff. During my time at the hotel, I was able to use most of the facilities, including the restaurant for breakfast, rooftop restaurant (Zeeyara Pyramids Elite) for lunch and view of the Pyramids. The lounges inside the swimming pool and hotel reception were also beneficial to my relaxation and watching sport. My superior double room was very clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the Plaza. I enjoyed the breakfast every morning, particularly the fresh omelette made by the chef. The staff were fantastic and very accommodating. By the time I left, I was able to meet most of the staff and understand the lovely, friendly culture of the hotel. Any questions I had the staff were able to help me, working very quickly and efficiently. A special mention firstly to Ahmed, who was there to welcome me to the Hotel at midnight upon my arrival. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed, meaning I settled quickly. Consistently throughout the week, he went above and beyond at any time of the day to make my stay as perfect as possible. Secondly, a special mention to Jana, who also went above and beyond to make my stay as perfect as possible. This included showing me the facilities (including the rooftop restaurant), assisting with queries throughout the week, and reminding me about being ready for breakfast. I will definitely return to the Hotel again, next time using more of the facilities and tours on offer.
A small recommendation: some small logos in front and outside of the hotel for better advertisement. Perhaps some small signs within the Plaza to show where the facilities are as well. Also, information leaflets in the hotel room showing the facilities of Jasmine Pyramids, as well as outside attractions. These are only small recommendations as the staff knew a lot of information already!

Verified reviewI’m unable to give a 10 rating for the hotel because of a very stressful experience upon my arrival. I waited for the scheduled airport transfer for an hour and a half, and in the end, the night receptionist sent me a photo of the wrong person. I got into the car with that person, believing it was the correct driver, but only a few minutes later I received the real driver’s photo. I was in complete panic and fear, not knowing whose car I was in. Eventually, they took me back to the airport, where the actual driver finally picked me up. The whole situation lasted nearly two hours, in the middle of the night, and was very distressing. Of course i needed to pay to the wrong person for the drive also.

- The first room we were given did not meet the expectations of what I booked on Booking (I showed the reception the pictures from the room I had booked on Booking and they changed it); the windows were sealed shut so we could not open the window and the bathroom was old. - The Wi-Fi did not work. - The second room we were given had a broken bed and smelled a lot like detergent, was also a bit noisy. It is a shame that we had these inconveniences because the staff was really kind with us.

Verified reviewGood clean rooms and hotel, the breakfast buffet is decent. The staff are friendly and helpful! Very close to the Giza Pyramids entrance, as well as to Marriott Mena House.
The Wifi connection in the rooms was quite bad - it would almost entirely stop working for hours at a time. But it would work as normal at the reception and the breakfast area. Somebody also walked into our room in the middle of the night - but the staff were apologetic!

Verified reviewThe staff is incredibly helpful 🩷 Abdo arranged the tours, super professional and good prices, car and drivers. The receptionist Omar and the girl Allah was very friendly and respectful. I felt safe as a solo female traveler.
Some of the reviews are not accurate due a sharing patio with another hotel.
