I waited 1 hour to be able to check in

Good bang for your buck. At that price point, it was exactly what I expected. Comfy room, nice balcony space to use too.

It was tricky on arrival - the location wasn't exactly the one provided on Booking. I had internet on my phone so I could arrange with the host, but be mindful of that.

Better and easier communication is a must. I have written with several phone numbers in WhatsApp. The process is confusing. The place needs better cleaning although is below the average price. Too loud because of street noise.

Very clean, employees are very friendly, location is excellent, within walking distance of most to tourist attractions, and also pretty reasonably priced

The budget room with the balcony is extremely noise, you won’t be able to sleep from all the street noise, avoid the budget single room at all costs unless you can somehow tank the noise and sleep They also often forget to fill toilet paper and soap, I spent 2-3 days without either. (Minor inconvenience for me though)

Location is great in the middle of everything, staff are beyond friendly and supportive.

Finding a Parking soot is a disaster in this area, if you have a car you will really struggle or else park it at Carrefour parking but expensive! Bed mattresses are very consumed and not comfortable. Street noise is chaotic and affects a good sleep.

The hostel is just downtown of Alexandria. It's also an 8-minute walk to the sea. The hostel is not far from McDonald's, Carrefour, and local fast food restaurants. The hostel is a big private apartment with five rooms on the fourth floor. The single room I stayed in was tidy and clean. The staff is friendly.

The single room I stayed in has a balcony. It was impossible for me to fall asleep at night because of the noisy car horns and the loud sound of people talking down the street. I suggest that you not book this single room if you want a quiet place. In addition, I needed a key to open the door of the elevator to get to the hostel, which is on the fourth floor. I think that it's a little bit inconvenient.

Address on Booking.com is not the actual address. I booked as wanted to be close by an appointment the following morning.and in fairness they tried calling but an accommodation a further 5 km from where it should be wasn't much use on this occasion. Asked for the cancellation fees to be waived and was met with a rude reply.
