Staff are nice. Location is central for downtown cairo. Could be some noise from street, but it was not big issue for us. Breakfast was good. Nice comfortable bed with clean bedding. Good aircon. Safe deposit box

The room needed some basic maintenace to make it better (e.g. peeling/crumbling paint & walls, loose electrical sockets, which can be improved without major renovations). and maybe a deep clean, although it was mostly OK. small fixes could make this up to good/great rating. At this pricepoint I have stayed nearby in better rooms

Friendly staff, good location

Pictures on booking were far away from the reality. It wasn't tragic but definitely not what's in the pictures. Good hotel if you plan to explore the city and just sleep there. Bathroom was like in European 2* stars hotels. Old, smell from pipes sometimes. Maybe other rooms are renovated but we were in 604 and it was like a different hotel if you check the booking pictures.

Friendly staff, very well located/central, pickup from the airport went very well/smoothly. The lift is an attraction in it's own right! Good value for money.

Hopefully it was just a one off, but they seemed to be doing some maintenance at night. Hoovering at 2am, banging something, which was a bit odd as during the day the place was very peaceful.

Breakfast needs lots of improvement. The entrance is a big put off,very poorly kept.

Staff behavior and balcony room

The property's location is really good. The manager and receptionists were extremely helpful and made our stay as pleasant as possible, they really put in effort for us to feel taken care of. The breakfast was ok, but its all the same daily.

The furniture is quite old, the windows aren't properly soundproofed so the nights can be tough for someone that doesnt fall asleep easily. The hotel only owns about two floors of the whole property of which one is the restaurant. Not really a downside but maybe that's not your thing

The location is just perfect, close to shops, restaurants and the museum. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help with a big smile. The room was clean and had everything you need during a short stay. I really appreciate the fact that the hotel offers a complimentary breakfast consisting of local food, but when you are served the same food every day, it may become too monotonous.

The organization at the hotel could have been better. The airport pickup I had arranged did not arrive, so I had to hire a taxi and pay significantly more. On the day of my arrival, the room I had booked was unavailable due to a bathroom issue. I was given a triple room instead, which was acceptable, and was promised that I could move to my original room once the issue was resolved. After two days, my room became available again indeed, but I was not informed in the morning to pack my suitcases in advance. Instead, they notified me while I was on my way to Giza, making it impossible for me to return in time. As a result, my room was given to someone else. It wasn't a big deal for me, but with a little bit better planning, such situations could be avoided.

The staff at reception were all incredibly friendly and reassuring. We booked a room on the street side and the view from the balcony was great for enjoying the atmosphere of Cairo.

I stayed there for 2 nights in December. The shower temperature was low and it was cold. I called the reception every night to ask if there were any blankets, but they said there were none. The air conditioner didn't heat up, it just blew cold air. Unfortunately, I had to wear my down jacket for both nights.

The room was clean, - Very welcoming and kind staff, - Hotel with a great location (close to restaurants, cafes, tourist attractions), - The breakfast was enough and changed a bit everyday (which we enjoyed), - In the last day we received a goodbye note written in Portuguese which was quite a memorable moment.

To take into consideration: - The building scared us a bit when we arrived, but everything looked better when we got to the fourth floor, - The water has little pressure. Small suggestion: - The room would gain if it had a chair so that the guests could drop clothes or items that they will use the next day.

Located in downtown Cairo, in the middle of all the action, in a historic building. Not all rooms are equal, so be sure and check your room before check-in, or change your room to better room, as your stay progresses.

Not all rooms are equal. But you can move rooms on later nights, as needed. Shower drain has some issues that can't seem to be fixed.

The room was spacious, clean, and nicely built. The balcony has a table and two chairs if you want to sit outside. The delicious morning breakfast is served just outside your room in a dining hall. The staff was very cooperative and welcoming. The hotel is located within the main market and thus provides a lot of opportunity for shopping or just roaming around & enjoying the hustle and hustle. Khan el Khalil market and the Egyptian Museum are nearby

It was private and no one bothered you. Those on reception were very friendly and helpful especially when we arrived late as our plane was delayed, they were able to get us a substantial meal.

It can get noisey at times especially in the night. The entrance to the hotel was not clearly sign posted. The entrance to the building could do with some work.
