The bed is not very clean I wish the staff could wash them more frequently. And there's no lockers.

The Nile nearby the hostel is excellent. We can swim there happily.

Basic rooms but the views and direct access to the water makes it 10/10. You can dip in for a swim or even rent kayaks and the owner ghandi has a wealth of local knowledge so be sure to ask him for tips. Really enjoyed Aswan and wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

The external area next to the Nile is outstanding and by far the best part of the experience Bedroom and bathroom were ok, but not super comfortable Meals and tours are available and easy to book and you can also do laundry for a fair price (can't remember the exact amount) Truly recommend as the external area is amazing

Facilities lacking modernisation, cleanliness in bedrooms. We had a triple room with large wardrobe that was covered in dust so we couldn't hang out clothes. The shared bathrooms can do with showers replaced

It had it's own private beach, sunbathing area, snacks and drinks available on site. They had kayaks to hire - so much to keep you entertained during the day. Amazing views and sunsets over the Nile. The place was so peaceful and relaxing - I would definitely stay again..the host Ghandhi amazing man, so kind and helpful. Plus he speaks perfect English 👍 I was sad to leave - made so many new traveller friends and locals who can't do enough for you.

The owner/manager is really good at communicating, organizing tours to Abu Simbel, abd giving advice about how to get to Luxor. Fantastic view across the Nile from the cafe. Reasonably priced food at the Cafe. Walking distance to the Nubian Museum. It's super basic but you can't beat it for the price.

Although it is a hostel, no hair dryer was provided. Additionally, the car charter service offered by the hostel was very poor. The driver had a bad attitude towards us because we didn’t give a tip, and repeatedly asked for extra charges under various excuses during the trip. Even though we had already paid $70 USD for the full-day car charter, the driver still asked us to pay for fuel separately. Therefore, I strongly advise against booking the car service from Aswan to Luxor through this hostel — absolutely do not book it! Additional note: If you plan to leave the hostel in the early morning hours, do not walk out alone. There are many stray dogs in the village, and they tend to form packs and follow you, which is very frightening. Around 4 AM, when we walked from the hostel to the Nubian Museum, we encountered a large group of stray dogs that kept barking aggressively at us — we were almost attacked.

The location of the accommodation is not very convenient, as you need to take a taxi to get to the city center. However, the hostel is close to the Nile River, offering beautiful scenery. The staff are helpful and friendly, and they offer very affordable canoe rentals, allowing you to spend a relaxing afternoon paddling on the Nile.

Unbeatable room views, straight on the river. The cafe at the front is also incredible. The hostel is very social, with plenty of space to hang out and enjoy the views, food, drinks. They offer kayak and private access to the river. The owner is a kind, well travelled and welcoming man. 10/10 stay.

The hostel is in a really good location and hostel owner Gandi is a very kind person. I was traveling late at night and was a little concerned about reaching the hostel. I spoke to Gandhi and told him the situation, he helped to get it arranged and also was waiting for me till I reached the hostel safely. On top of it he upgraded my room as I reached late and had to leave early the next day for Abu Simble. Also, the staff is very friendly and everything is within walking distance from the hostel.

The pillow was hard and the bunk beds in general a little uncomfortable. But that was really the only negative thing I could say about this place.

This was one of my favorite hostels I’ve stayed at here. Gandhi was so welcoming and gave great recommendations for transport, food & sightseeing. There are drinks and food in the hostel. The spaces are cleaned regularly. The Nile access from the hostel is amazing. And the atmosphere is just very open, people come there to connect and I felt welcome immediately.

Curtain around the bed. No alcohol sold here.

Gandhi is the master, he knows everything, he will help you with anything. The place is very relaxed and chilled. It's a 15 minute walk into the centre but why would you bother? There's swimming here, kayaking, and great views. Comfy bed.
