Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Hotel personnel is amazing, they really exceeded our expectations, very warm and professional. Hotel's rooms, facilities and greenery are perfectly maintained, very decent beach with everything necessary. We stayed during medium occupancy, there were plenty available beach beds, tables at the breakfast, etc. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Territory is very green with various types of trees and flowers.

Saudi ArabiaI had my worst experience in Villa 33 (privately owned). Everything I try to use becomes dysfunctional including Kitchen, Toilets, Doors, WiFi, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, you name it. Unfortunately, the only response I receive from the hotel is "Sorry, but this is an owner property, we are unable to do more". This is system of selling units and the hotel renting it made me feel staying at furnished apartment with no service from one of the most prestigious hotel chain. This system make guests victims and I would not recommend any guest to choose owned property. Make sure you are staying at a non-owned unit (especially Villa 33, where the owner is not cooperative with Booking nor Hotel Management).
I liked the location and the size. The seen from the villa is great. Relatively centered between the hotel lobby and the swimming pool. Not too far from the beach.

United StatesSubject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Ruined Vacation – Request for Full Refund Dear Booking.com, I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment regarding our reservation (confirmation number: 4408507295) at the Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh Residential Private Villa & Chalet from December 27, 2024, to January 1, 2025. We booked this accommodation in the summer, explicitly selecting and paying for a direct sea-view villa to enjoy the scenic views during our stay. After a long and exhausting journey from Los Angeles to Sharm El Sheikh, we arrived at the Four Seasons, only to be shocked and dismayed to learn that our promised and paid-for sea view accommodation had been given away to another customer. The hotel informed us that the property was privately owned and had been rented out by the owner to someone else despite our confirmed booking and payment. The receptionist attempted to relocate us to another accommodation, but it was far from the beach with a palm tree view, which was unacceptable. We specifically chose the sea view villa because we prefer staying indoors and enjoying the view from our room rather than engaging in outdoor activities. This substitution was not only unsatisfactory but also completely contrary to what we paid for. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, the receptionist dismissively suggested we find another hotel if we were unhappy. We attempted to do so, but due to the Christmas season, we were unable to secure alternative accommodations for all five of us as one family. This distressing and frustrating process wasted two hours of our time. Ultimately, we chose to cut our reservation short, leaving early on January 1, 2025, after securing another accommodation. This entire experience not only dampened but also ruined our vacation. It is unacceptable for a reputable brand like Four Seasons to allow such a situation, where a privately owned chalet is marketed under their name, tarnishing their reputation.
