How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

A special thank you to Hussein, who provided outstanding support via WhatsApp throughout the entire process. His constant availability, professionalism, and attention to detail made all the difference and truly elevated my experience. Also, a big thank you to Fady and Naser for their warm hospitality and support during my stay. They were always ready to help with anything I needed, making my time at the hotel even more pleasant and efficient. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dubai for business. I’ll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip!

Wi-fi is not working all days. When we came at 21:00 rooms were not ready. Hair dryer was not working (in few rooms). There was no safe. Service is very poor. Last morning hotel have to pick up luggage 6:45, after 4 calls came 7:10. We came 6 people and all of us didn't like hotel. One person moved to other hotel, because they couldn't find rooms, even it was reserved.

Verified reviewI recently stayed at this hotel for a short visit. While the hotel is not new and the standard is not very high, I was impressed by how hard the staff work to make guests feel welcome. The service really stands out—especially Mohab, who was extremely helpful and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The rooms are clean, but the air conditioning is quite loud, which might be an issue for light sleepers. Despite these minor drawbacks, the friendly atmosphere and attentive staff make up for it. I would recommend this hotel for a 2-3 day stay, especially if you value good service and a convenient location.

Verified reviewI had a fantastic stay at Ramage Hotel In Cairo. From the moment I arrived, the manager Mohab & staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was especially comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the room’s cleanliness and design. The hotel facilities were top-notch. Location-wise, the hotel is perfectly situated next to New Cairo & Stadium. Perfect location for soccer teams Overall, I was very impressed and would definitely return. Verified reviewWe stayed for 4 nights and the cleanness and professionalism was outstanding. Especially, Mr. Mohab from reception has taken care of us every morning and night with Mr. Mustafa from the hotel staff, thanks for them we were able to get what we needed for breakfast and daily requests.

Verified reviewThe main menu and food was very good. Helpful staff especially Fady on reception who could also speak English. Well stocked mini-bar. Clean room with modern amenities. En-suite bathroom was exceptionally clean, with all consumables provided Nice swimming pool with plenty of seating. Great location with a short drive to the airport.
A late breakfast start time, thus having to choose items from a set-menu the day before with poor dietary choice. Loud music from the adjacent area. TV with only Arabic channels.

very poor breakfast in menu (bouffet is preferable due its visible) - room facilities (lack of pen and paper not so convenient for visitors with business purpose) - weak wifi (my room was at the 3rd floor and never worked so I used my mobile which cost money to me) - lack of cleanliness of hotel's facilities (windows of the stairs so dirty that the external area wasn't visible) - downloading the QR code of the menu you will realize that is written only in Arabic (good luck because of Fady at the reception who send me on Whats.App the catalogue in English) - stuff of the restaurant speaks and understand very few English which means that sometimes is too difficult to be cooperative
