Really loved all in this beautiful guest house, and will come back for long stay Very clean, staff very friendly and so closed to the public ferry dock if you have luggage 🧳

Nice position, modern facilities, owner and staff very reliable

The owner is super hospitable and pleasant. We were welcomed by tea and fresh mango juice. The room is super clean and the bed is extra comfy. It was a delight to wake up to the sound of birds after coming from Cairo. The hotel is right next to the ferry port and a popular restaurant.

We liked everything.

The host was very accommodating and waited until midnight for our late check-in, which we truly appreciated. The room was neat and clean.

Crustala Guest House is located on Elephantine Island, which is ideal only if you specifically wish to stay on the island. Otherwise, accommodations on the mainland may be more convenient. Reaching the guest house requires a ferry ride, and the path to the property involves numerous steps and unpaved roads — not ideal if you're carrying heavy luggage. The breakfast options were limited, and the meal we received from a neighboring guesthouse did not meet our expectations. We felt the 11 AM checkout time was a bit early, especially since the staff began pressuring us to leave even before the scheduled time. The room itself was quite small for two people with luggage, and considering the price, we expected a bit more comfort and space.

The host Ahmad was very polite and hospitable. We were treated like family. He welcomed us with great warmth and kindness. The place was clean and good for family of 3 women. Thank you Ahmad for everything 😊

We were given the three bed room as it’s the available at the moment. It was very clean, and definitely would definitely recommend. We had 4 luggages in total since we stayed in Egypt for about 2 weeks, their location is surreal perfect cos it has almost direct access to boat station. They arranged for us the tour and Nile cruise in an honest price. Thank you for making our Aswan experience the best! The couple behind this was very hands on to make the stay memorable. Thanks a lot!

The guesthouse is wonderful! Very clean place, hot water, close to the Nile river. Ahmed is amazing. A very honest, kind, solicitous and helpful. He helped us organizing all the tours we did. He and his guesthouse deserve a 10/10.

There's nothing we didn't like.

Owner was very helpful as we arrived very late at night, actually after midnight. He stayed up to meet us. He also arranged for a taxi from the airport as well as transfer to and from the Eiland/Crystala guest House. He also arranged someone to help us with the luggage to and from the property. He further assisted us by calling on phone our pick up driver for our transfer to a ferry. He and his wife were very friendly and the breakfast she made was good and especially on the rooftop.

NOTHING. It was a guest house on a island in the Nile. So I knew it would be a different experience than staying in a hotel. So the accommodation was expected and we wanted to experience so time with the locals. So there was nothing that we didn't liked. Mainland stay is usually better if you have to be picked up early in the morning but the motor boat transfer was very cheap and frequent and less than 5 min to the mainland. So it was all ok for the value of money and hospitality we received at all hours of the day. We also received a welcome drink and small gift from the owners.

The host was extremely warm and polite. Hospitality at its peak. Arrangement for various local trips (Aswan + Abu Simbel + Transfer to Luxor) were also taken care of by him at a decent price on short notice. Chatted with him on Egyptian culture, people etc which enriched the experience for us of the whole trip. Loved our stay.

The comunication, the room itself its pretty good and good looking, it have everything to be comfortable. The owner helped me to arrange transportation and tours to Abu simbel, Asuan and Luxor in good cars and with good drivers, all polite and puntual. Very recommended place.

One minute from the ferry port, easy walking around the island and great views over the nile and city.

The accommodation was very good; the manager and her husband were very nice. They helped to make an appointment for the driver to pick us up at the airport, and also prepared Nubian drinks and desserts for us. The scenery on the balcony was very good. We met her husband on the balcony and enthusiastically gave us desserts. I recommend everyone to live here.

Crystala guest house is in a beautiful Location at elephantine islands. The room was very clear. I mean very clear. The hosts were very friendly and kind. They welcomed us with a smile like they were waiting for us since I booked the room. They even made us gifts two beautiful bracelets. I have nothing else to say everyone was perfect and I recommend to everyone who wants to visit Aswan.
