Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustriaThe hotel from the outside looked a little bit shabby at first. We arrived at night.
We had a very clean and comfortable room. The bed was really comfy. The view of the pyramides is amazing. The location was pretty close to the pyramides and the new museum. We liked the breakfast and the nice rooftop very much. The staff especially Adham was very friendly and talked a lot :-).

AustraliaQuaint, understated yet perfect. View from rooftop is absolutely amazing. Hard to beat. Staff were incredibly helpful. They went out of their way to make sure your Giza and Egypt experience was utmost. Adam, Ahmed and team - amazing. Try this little hotel with a big heart. You won’t regret it.

SerbiaAs we read in the reviews — and we agree — when you arrive at the place, you can’t believe there’s a nice hotel in there. The elevator wasn’t working, so we had to climb on foot, and there were no signs. It was dark and cramped. But then a staff member found us and showed us the way. The hotel itself isn’t spacious, and I think you can hear what’s going on at the reception from your room. And I think that’s all when it comes to the cons.
The view was amazing — there was a rooftop terrace, and our room had a private balcony as well. The room itself was clean and neat. When it comes to the room, there was nothing to complain about: a decent hotel room, top quality for its price.

KenyaNot much and I'd be nitpicking on things that are not the property's fault or in their control. Internet is typically slow in Egypt, which was something I did not expect. Celia's WiFi is in fact decent by these standards but if there are ways to make it better, such as Starlink, it would take Celia Pyramids View Inn from great to extraordinary.
The property is very modern, with fresh, cultural, and aesthetic interior design, despite being in a typical Giza residential sky scrapper that does not look appealing from the outside. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful with warm Egyptian hospitality. The chefs make tasty and fresh meals which you get to enjoy at the rooftop whilst taking in the spectacular views. The pièce de résistance is however the location. With incredible views of the Great Pyramids of Giza and very close proximity to the complex, Celia Pyramids View Inn is great value for money and an amazing place to stay. My stay even included an airport pickup which if you know anything about Egypt is a more than welcome convenience. Thank you Celia.

United KingdomThe rooms were disappointing. Booked a twin and a deluxe double but was given a small double at the back with a frosted window. The twin had a view and balcony but we did not get the deluxe double we were expecting. Ahmed changed the room for a small fee. Mustafa tried to over charge us for airport cabs. We got them for a fraction of the price ourselves.
The standout is the roof terrace. Fantastic view of the Pyramids. Friendly staff

United KingdomDownsides... The beers were cheap, but when we asked for a vodka and coke, we were told by (Mustafa, the receprionist)... we had to buy a full bottle, which cost equalled £45gbp we only pay £19gbp in our money. We told Mustafa, the receptionist, that we wouldn't even pay that at home. So we just stuck to beers. We also went to reception to order a taxi, and the receptionist put us on a call to Mustafa to take us to where we wanted to go. He quoted us £35gbp for a trip around the corner, but when we ordered an Uber, it cost us 56 Egyptian pounds, which equates to 97p in British money. It's a shame that one person can waste such an amazing trip by trying to scam you out of your money at every turn. We paid £62gbp for a 5* meal at the marriot Hotel but paid £50gbp for 2 pizzas and chips at this hotel, and to be honest, it wasn't anything special. So just be wary, as there's better value elsewhere where. Do yourself a favour and download Uber if you're travelling anywhere, as it's a busy city and the walks can be a challenge, but the taxi takes minutes. Otherwise, I would 100% stay here again as it's genuinely beautiful, and the view is breathtaking. And the young boy that works on the reception was genuinely a pleasure and deserved his tip and then some!
I genuinely can't believe i spent my birthday here! The view was absolutely stunning! And it really made my birthday something special! At some point, I'll definitely come back here! I'm mesmerised! This hotel is GREAT value for money! Staff and breakfast are fantastic! Don't be disheartened by the outside of this building or surroundings as the inside is genuinely stunning. There's pros and cons no matter where you stay! And this definitely has pros and cons. Thank you to everyone one who made this something special.

United Arab EmiratesEgypt is always busy, you can hear all vehicles are honking all day. Which is not a big issue for us, especially when you’re inside the room and since we stayed on the top floor. FYI. Drivers in Egypt drive soooooo craaaaazy. Always buckle up! Wifi connection was kinda bad so I suggest you to use Esim or data.
Waking up and having our breakfast with the perfect view of the Pyramids was very amazing. Room is clean, cozy and well maintained. Easy to locate. 10mins away from Pyramids of Giza and Grand Egyptian Museum. Most importantly is the staff! Mohamed, Osama and Mustafa and all the others were very friendly and accommodating. We feel safe during our stay. They found out that we are newly married couple so they surprised us and decorated our room and made our stay so ROOMantic. We really enjoyed staying here! Highly recommended!

GermanySaying goodbye to the beautiful view :´( (Crying in Spanish)
Let me start with the unbelievable view from the rooftop. Every single minute spent at the rooftop with direct view to the pyramids, having breakfast every morning or actually a drink seeing the sunset in the evening was more than a dream come true. Now let me continue with the wonderful service offered by Mustafa (the manager), and his colleagues (Mohammed, Ayman, and every single person who was there making us feel so comfortable!) The rooms are comfortable, clean, the location is in Giza, and although Cairo can be a bit chaotic, this place is definitely worth to visit (and staying in this hotel will be your starting point).

PortugalWiFi is a bit unstable but seems to be the same in other places in Egypt. Breakfast is good but it's always the same everyday.
It's a nice small hotel as an overall, it has aircon, mini fridge and kettle. The room was big enough and comfortable. The rooftop has a great view of the pyramids, and the staff is very nice, polite and helpful. The location feels a bit dodgy but it's safe and conveniently close to the pyramids, also there are grocery stores next to the hotel.
