Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesMosque right nearby - very early morning call to prayer (although this is likely par for the course in the older parts of Cairo).
Good location, good price, and great service. Ramez at the front desk was particularly friendly and helpful.

IndiaThis was our second time in this hotel. We travelled for work and came back here as we like the place. The rooms are spacious and clean. I like the fact that balcony allows me to have fresh air and sunlight in the room when I am not going out and staying indoor. The location is great. The staff is very supportive and always ready to help. Specially the receptionist Ms. :) The breakfast was good enough to start your day.

We had booked two rooms for 6 nights. The location of the hotel is great. It's in the center of the city with all the tourist attractions close by. (Even Banks, Shops, Restaurants and Currency Exchange at walking distance) Rooms were spacious and clean with city view. We requested for early check in and they gave us one room immediately after we arrived. Staff was very attentive and always ready to help. Food served was delicious. We had authentic Egyptian breakfast. Would have been great if they add little more variation. Overall it was good experience on our first Egypt visit. Many more to come :) Shukran!!

EgyptOverall, I was very satisfied.
I greatly appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the staff, particularly the reception team member Hend and the cafeteria team member Abd Elrahman. During my stay, I was dealing with a broken leg, and they went out of their way to ensure my comfort. They consistently assisted me with any requests I had and accommodated my needs as well as those of my visiting guests. Their attentiveness and genuine care truly made a challenging situation much more manageable.

Qatar1*The worst experience is check-in, first of all they have weird check-in timings which is 12 in the noon,i was waiting since 9 am and i was hoping to check-in as its 12 but they didn't arranged room for me,and they finally gave me room at 2:30 pm,i came to hotel at 7 am and you can imagine how frustrating to wait that long and my i took a night flight so i was up since long, so people keep in mind about check-ins i think all over Egypt they have same timings for check-in but still they should handover room on time as mentioned. 2*The second problem i faced and it's so annoying which is noise from traffic and honking from outside plus seller voices, even if you closed all your doors windows and balcony doors even curtains, still you gonna hear a lot of noises, but but but if you want to feel safe and feel that you are at centre of the city then it's fine
Breakfast is ok just acceptable, and cleanliness was good,i like that reception/receptionist is always available for you to help and queries 24/7,plus you have waiting hall which is quiet good, room was spacious with sofa included in the room. It's in the main downtown area where you can get everything literally everything just by a walk i mean all the stores shopping cafes restaurants etc

PolandThe staff's behavior was quite strange. When checking out I was literally forced by the lady at the reception to leave a positive review on tripadvisor. She read through my review and even took pictures of it before forcing me to publish it. (obviously I had to give the maximum score). Also, when I asked for any advice about transportation or getting to places (train, bus), all what they did was trying to sell me their trips. Apart from this pushy behavior the stay was good and I'd give a higher rating
Small hotel (one floor in a building), right in Cairo's downtown. They arranged airport pick up in the middle of the night which was very helpful. The breakfast was pretty good. Its noisy from the street, but it's downtown Cairo, so it's noisy everywhere. Very close to metro station, cafes, downtown. Adorable art deco building.

DenmarkVery small bathroom without separate shower. No hot water on the first 24 h. Got fixed. Difficult to lock balcony door. A bit to pushy on selling an evening cruise on the Nile - which was not worth it at all.
