It was perfectly decent but very minimal. The staff was very helpful but one had to ask for most of the basics.

The location was in a nice part of downtown, close to a metro station which made accessing other parts of the city easy

The elevator

The whole staff was very welcoming and helpful from the receptionist who sent me tea upon my arrival to the housekeeper, to the guy who served me the breakfast, they were all very nice

The hotel is located very close to Tahrir Square, making it easy to move around the main attractions of the city. The Egyptian museum is just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The room is clean and quite comfortable for a short stay. The room has a balcony with a city view and it's possible to have breakfast there. The guys at the reception, Abdullah and Mohammed, are very nice and friendly and they gave me precious tips and suggestions for my stay in Cairo. I would definitely book here again.

Rooms were not isolated, staff was not speaking much English.

The staff were friendly and helpful although their English wasn't the best. The breakfast is brought to the room. Oriental breakfast was really good.

Bathroom was standard, not modern. There was hot water, though.

It's in the middle of everything. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nour was quite pleasant. You can have your clothes washed and ironed for a fair price.

The hotel is nice, we stayed there before. Please note they are at 14 not 15 Champollion. However they were over booked last night. They moved us to a different hotel which is a little less nice. They however paid for our taxi to the new hotel, 600m away. And they ensured that we still got breakfast.

The room wasn't ready when I arrived, my check in was at 12pm and I arrived at 2pm yet my room wasn't cleaned and ready for check in. The room service used the same bed sheets which was in the bed earlier, they just did the bed sheets fitting.

The breakfast is poor: a yoghurt, a boiled egg, some olives and cucumber slices and bread. The first day I had a tour booked so I asked if I could have breakfast at 8 and the staff said it was OK. When I went to the reception the next day at 8, they said it'd be at 9. I told them again about the tour and they said they knew nothing about it. In the end, I had breakfast at 9 and arrived late to my tour, the guide already left. The second day, I needed to leave early to the airport and they brought even a smaller breakfast. They came on time, though.

The place is nice, beds are comfortable, bathroom is OK.

Old with smell, balcony’s door can’t be closed. Plate holding breakfast is dirty with something left from last customer. Whole hotel has only one hairdryer. If other customer uses it, you have dry by air. Bad service. I ordered breakfast at 8:30am and they knocked the door at 7am the first day. After I clarified it should be 8:30am, the next day I need to urge them every 20mins, until 9:50am, I got my cold breakfast. It happened 6 days, just every day same same.

I had a fantastic stay at Cairo Dream Boutique Hotel! The location is unbeatable, just a short walk from Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate all my requests. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with modern amenities like air conditioning and reliable Wi-Fi. The complimentary breakfast was a delightful start to the day. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cairo on a budget!

Nothing! Everything was just as described.

When we arrived, our host Khaled brought us tea and snacks and spoke with us about the local facilities, which made us feel at home and familiarised. He also asked us about what we wanted to see while we were in Cairo, and helped us book reputable tours and attractions for an unbeatable price. The room was spotless, very cosy, with lovely views of the city. Furthermore, the water pressure in the bathroom was wonderful and all soaps/ towels were provided. Breakfast the next day was lovely - and suitable for me as a vegetarian. So tasty & free of charge, which set us up for a day of exploring. Cannot recommend Khaled and his team enough, they checked on us daily and ensured us we had everything we needed during our stay. Initially, we were going to stay in the hotel for 2 nights and move around the city, but we were so comfortable we decided to set up camp here. A great base with everything you need in walking distance!
