United StatesBeautiful resort and very accommodating staff! Peter was so helpful and made sure we were taken care of. The car price to go the village was not too bad if you're just going once a day. Also, I honestly loved how there was hardly anyone there. It was so peaceful and felt good to get away from the crowds. Abu simbel is a very small town and there were hardly any tourists staying overnight anywhere. It was probably my favorite stop during our Egypt trip.

United StatesWell. I'd like to say it was perfect, we stayed for one night only. The main problem was that we had to call the front desk at one point regarding a cancelled flight to Aswan and the need to hire a driver immediately, but no one at the front desk answered the phone. I had to walk over only to find the front desk empty. This was about 5:00 p.m. Finally, someone called us in our room and apologized, saying they were dealing with some other problem, but that's unacceptable at a four-star hotel, even in a remote spot like Abu Simbel. 24 hour service means 24 hour service. That's what you pay for: you need it when you need it. They were very nice though and very on top of it after that, making the call to the airport to confirm the cancellation and arranging the driver for us also.
The food buffet was pretty good, but we had better buffets elsewhere in Egypt. We ate two meals, dinner and breakfast. The food was good but lacked the variety that we had at other four-star hotel buffets in Egypt.

This is a new hotel and the staff are busting themselves to make it a destination. It is a bit away from any activity in Abu Simbel town which is good or bad depending on what you are looking for. We were looking for quiet, so it was great. The suite was huge and well decorated. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. Both were excellent. The grounds are spacious and beautifully landscaped.

RussiaVery good location - close to the airport and a bit far from the town, which give you extreme quietness. Just at the bank of the lake with amazing view. The staff is very friendly and tries to help as much as possible. At the reception, in the bar or shisha corner, or in the restaurant - they always smile and tries to help! 👍 The hotel facilities are OK, even if a bit simpler than 5-star hotels in other places. We took a Lake-view suit and fully enjoyed it! Overall, we were happy we choose the place! Good luck 👋
