Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PortugalAs a guesthouse it is not identified so if you are arriving late can be hard to find. Make sure you have the owner number, he was very helpful
Simple but super cozy apartment, very spacious and well equipped. It seems to be fairly new and was is a great value for price. The property has a backyard overlooking the sea from which you can access the beach (in a quite steep way). Great value for money!

United KingdomBeautiful and comfortable rooftop apartment with everything one needs to be happy, and a spectacular large private terrace where to sit with a coffee and watch the sea on one side and the town and mountains above the desert on the other side. Amazing! The location is definitely the best I experienced in Sharm, in the fancy neighbourhood of Hadaba, with shops of all kind, but on a tranquil shoreline street by the sea. There's also a beautiful private beach that can be accessed by the back gate... Amazing views and serenity! Last but not least, the owner, the staff, and even the next door neighbour are some of the kindest people I met and went above and beyond to make sure that my time at the guesthouse was perfect❤️ I recommend 100 percent!

EgyptA bit difficult to get down the cliff to the sea if you can't walk well but there is a path once you find it and my 65 year old mum had no problem. It's a good workout to be honest with the best motivation behind it. And not exactly related but as a tip to other snorkeling lovers, if you want a snorkeling tour maybe avoid tours with divers as they focus on diving rather than snorking and see you as an extra. If possible try and get a snorkeling tour with no divers.
Love the house, great location. Fit a family of 4 adults in two bedrooms and a living room sofa bed. Love the big fridge freezer. The host is extremely kind and generous and a breath of fresh air. Snorkeling is a must here. Enjoyed it more with my family than Ras Mohammed! I went all the way to Sharm El Sheikh from the UK just for it's world renound snorkeling and this place was just the best out of several locations we went to. You can snorkel as long as you like here without any guides rushing you. Unlike taking a tour which only gives you like 30 minutes max with no freedom, here you can spend hours relaxing.

IrelandOne of the rooms was upstairs and access was difficult in those stairs. The room was for adult people but it looked so difficult for them that I had to change rooms with them so that they had the better house. The problem is not the room, for some people it will not be a problem, but at least we should be aware of this before. We did not know about it.
The sea is spectacular. Corals and amazing sea life in front of you.

TurkeyThe limber hole of the shower was stuck and the water was collected there. Also the refrigerator was not working for some reason. If we stayed any longer we would have wanted these fixed.
The staff was lovely. They smoothly handled our very late check-in and allowed us to leave our luggage at the house for a couple of hours after checkout. The place was clean. The garden which is directly connected to the beach was great.

UkraineIt was an unforgettable journey. Villa is located on the first coastline, we were living in the two-story room with terrace and sea view! There is everything you need for a comfort living. You can also use washing machine for small charge. Here you can find two beaches with reef, in where you can enjoy the beauty of underwater world! Locals told me that reefs were bigger six years ago, but human intervention leaded to coral death. Please do not step on corals and do not destroy the beauty and uniqueness of the Red sea! Wish you have a nice journey!

United KingdomIt was a great stay for us!!
We loved how local, comfortable and lovely it felt to stay here. What a simple but fully relaxing place to be in Sharm El Sheikh! The host and doorman are both super friendly and helpful. The place has everything you need for a trip—we didn’t use the kitchen but there is all the equipment needed :). The balcony is perfect for a morning and afternoon chill, and the location is unbeatable; local facilities, shops, restaurants, and ATMs are all within easy walking distance!

ChinaThe bathroom is awkwardly small and sometimes the floor will get very wet from the shower. We told the staff the next day. He fixed a little bit so it got better. Also the WiFi didn’t really work inside the room. But from balcony, you have connection.
We really like the location. It is in the convenient neighborhood where close to super market, stores, and like 10-15 min walk to Farsha. The guest house also have a private beach that we walk there everyday. It’s beautiful. You can also buy some food to cook if you want.

What an amazing place! The location is unbeatable, right on the beach with a private beach area. Grocery stores and popular cafés are all within walking distance. The Wi-Fi was the best I experienced in Egypt, which was a huge plus. The host was responsive, and the room, though small, was cozy, clean, and comfortable. I truly enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sharm El Sheikh.

GermanyCommunication - there was no communication from them before I arrived, even when I messaged them informing what time I'd be arriving. Lo and behold, when I arrived not only was it not clear which building it was but there was no one around. So I had to just stand around waiting with my luggage. I managed to get through to them via phone and they sent the housekeeper, who I couldn't communicate with, to collect me. Once I was checked in, since I could not communicate with the housekeeper, I had to message them to ask about things, such as how/where is the beach, how do i get down etc. I wasted a lot of precious time wandering around trying to work out how to get down to the private beach (the housekeeper told me to go right which led to no where I could get down...) Guests shouldn't have to be chasing for basic information. Bathroom - the shower corner is so tiny that when you shower the curtain basically touches and sticks to you. Try and shower without the curtain and the whole room is flooded. Bedroom - Though the bed was comfortable, I was bitten by mosquitos all night and it wasn't even that warm. I don't know what it would be like at the height of summer. Kitchen - nice big and modern fridge but the 2 hob plug in electric cooker takes ages to heat up and is very weak and there are no cupboards so therefore a lack of basic cooking material. No chopping board, adequate cutlery, proper plates and bowls etc.
Apartment - cute, modern and cosy apartment with an attic bedroom, balcony facing the sea, comfortable bed. Location - the absolute highlight! The house is located in a quiet, upscale neighbourhood just 5 minutes walk from a gas station and shopping mall and apparently a local bus. The back of the apartment opens out onto a private section of the coast! Turn left and walk 3 minutes or so and you can head down the cliff stairs to your own private beach. The only place I felt comfortable at the beach my whole time in Egypt. The famous Farsha cafe is only a 15 minute walk away, along with the famous reefs for snorkelling. However, after having snorkelled at both the reefs in front of Farsha and at this private beach, it's the same if not better here! Plus you don't have to pay 150EGP entry and deal with the blasting music and tourist crowds of the beach at Farsha - nightmare. The private beach is clean, secluded, never crowded and very serene. It is rocky so bring your water shoes. I wish I had booked more days just to stay at this beach. Price - very decent price for Sharm El Sheikh.
