A cozy and beautiful campsite. The cabin was clean and well-maintained, with fresh bedding. We especially liked the kitchen – it was stylishly decorated, a bit hippie-inspired and very cozy. It had plenty of useful appliances and dishes. The toilets and showers were clean and tidy. The owner was very friendly and welcoming.

The owner’s smile and his chatty nature. And the location of Tahkuranna.

The pictures we looked at and the advertised facilities were not what we got. I wish owners would be more discerning about which pictures refer to which offer. Our booking was made on the assumption, that the cabin we booked (for €40) would have a private bathroom and kitchen inside the cabin. These details were confirmed on the booking confirmation. When we arrived Lennart, the owner told us where the key was and we should let us in. The cabin we got (for €40) was basically 2 single beds and a table - no bathroom or cooking facilities. For this type of cabin they were across the lawn 50m away and shared. The cabin with private bathroom and kitchen was rented out already.

We stayed at cabin in small camping. Cabin has all equipment for family stay of 2 + 2 smaller kids. Host is very friendly with tips for trek. Upper floor is quite small in height, so fits kids maybe up to 10 years old. There is nice patio in front for late night drink. For kids there is trampoline in the camp.

    Mold in the shower.

We stayed for one night. The house looks great, grass on the roof, colorful doors, hammocks, peace and quiet. Our daughter was delighted. Very polite and nice host. The house has everything you need (kettle, microwave, fridge, bathroom with shower). On the campus there is also a large kitchen, bathrooms and dining room organized in the barn. The house has a mezzanine under the roof for sleeping, but for adults there may be too little space, for our daughter it was great. The coast is about 20 min walk (5 min drive). To the shop 10 min drive.

It wasn't a problem, but it's worth mentioning. The water in the summerhouse probably comes from a well and has a slightly different smell. I also don't know if it's drinkable straight from the tap. We didn't ask about that. We noticed it after a shower.

The owner was nice and forthcoming and the kitchen was decently equipped. The place is very quiet and feels isolated, which is nice. The bedlinen was fresh. There is a football field with nets, some games to play, and books to read. But that's about all we liked, to be honest. I was very surprised to see the high ratings and could not, for the life of me, see why.

Well, there is so much that I would not know where to start, tbh. Spiders and cobwebs everywhere (and no, they are not a given in all campsites). The showers rusty, moldy and unkempt. The toilet dirty and smelly. The kitchen sponges and cloth were disgusting. The beds cracked like hell with every move. The door would not close, so we could not lock it (I was travelling alone with kids.) Overall, I have a feeling that this place used to be good but now it needs a LOT of TLC. This is a shame as the place has a lot of potential, and could be made really nice again.

Great camping site near the sea (20 min walk) and very interesting local villages of Estonia's region Tahkuranna. There is a real football field, clean toilet rooms and showers, well equipped kitchen, barbecue, bikes and other staff for rent. Don't forget to take some food and drinks. Very good connection to mobile internet but not so good to wifi in bungalows. There is a bus stop to Pärnu in 20 mins walking (30 min to Pärnu Bus Station). Very friendly and helpful hosts.

    Nothing

A great campsite that exceeded expectations, everything you need is in the campsite, the kitchen is amazing, the outdoor showers and toilets are clean. You can park the car near the bungalow. There are facilities for outdoor games, a trampoline for children. The host is great. I want to come back again.
