How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Excellent location just outside the old city. Hotel located where the art school was. Rooms nicely decorated. Parking either in the street ( free during week ends) or on site ( if you stay a few days a good time to move the car in the hotel parkingg lot is early in the morning when several people check out ). Staff: nice and helpful. Breakfast : good.

Our room was facing a busy street and there was some traffic noise
Pleasant rooms with big windows and therefore a lot of natural light. Very good breakfast in a pleasant setting.

Everything was great, no bad comments.
Everything was great, the hotel is right in the city center. There was a place to park the bikes. The old town with corgis and restaurants across the street. Breakfast was very good. Everything was clean and tidy.

No complaints at all. We were given a double room where one side of the bed was against a wall, but they changed the room for us when we asked.
Great central location, near restaurants and shopping centers. Walking distance to the bus station too. Lovely staff. Pretty good breakfast. We had dinner there one night and really enjoyed it. If you are into history and culture the Estonian National Museum is not to be missed. Best museum this whole trip. Take a Bolt or an Uber to get there imho, it’s slightly out of town. We could have spent the whole day there, but ran out of time after 4 hours.

Location was excellent right in the town centre and near to bus station and old town. We loved the enormous bed which was super comfy and the artwork on the walls. We had a wonderful view from our room across the road to a park. The breakfast was extremely good with plenty of variety and hot and cold dishes. The staff were courteous and helpful, providing a kettle for us to use when we requested one (there was already a coffee machine in the room). We loved this hotel and will definitely stay here again if we return to Tartu.

Rather small room. One had to climb over the bed to get in. Only one chair. Hotel next to busy , noisy road. Windows could not be opened. Only small ventilation openings. Air conditioning had to be used.
Just outside old town. Good hotel for short stay. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Good view over town centre.

Reception staff were great. We had bedroom and adjoining room with massive TV. The art theme ran through both. I guess all rooms are different and ours was a bit out there. Must have been fun to paint. I wouldnt want it at home. Bathroom was large with loads of space. Breakfast was probably the best of the buffets we had on our trip.

Parking seems a little bit small, but it was free. Of course if You get a place. If not, You nee to search for parking around location.
Breakfast was great - quite a lot of things to choose from, our kids also enjyed, however they are very picky of food in general :) Location is great - heart of the city and everything You need is very close - restaurants, place of atractions, river, shopping malls etc.

Maybe it was because it was a handicap room, but I'm just not a fan of the big European showers with no door and a squeegee. But when in Rome (or Tartu)...
Amazing breakfast! Truly top notch buffet selection. Superb location! Easy walk to everything in Tartu. Surprisingly quiet at night.

Coffee maker not included with standard rooms, had to upgrade to get one. Tea not provided.
The location was excellent- walking distance from bus station and town hall square. Great breakfast selection, bright room nicely decorated, friendly staff.

Noice insulation is not good. Any noice ftrom the neighbor room can be heart. It is annoing.
Thd location of the property is close to interesting places. Good and safe parking facilities. Good quality to price ratio. Breakfast is good. Bed is comfortable.
