Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

We had a dinner on the night we stayed and food was exceptional as was our waiter. CanadaThe hotel is located very close the the main gate to Old Town, great location. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The room was nice and big, modern with comfortable beds and very clean. Our room looked onto the old buildings of Rotermann, which is a trendy new area with shops and many restaurants. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, preferred eating out.

PolandThere was an issue with the drain and the water in the sink was not going down. This was not fixed despite us reporting it on the first day of our stay.
The location of the hotel is great. It's modern and nicely furnished. There is an amazing leisure area on the top floor, with great views of the old town. Breakfast is delicious and offers variety of food options including freshly made omlettes.

NorwayThe only things that could have been better is the air conditioning. I believe that we couldn't control it and so the temperature was a bit hotter than what we liked, but nothing uncomfortable.
Location and pool facilities were the top things during our stay. The bedroom was super clean, spacious, modern and cozy. The staff was super kind too.

Room was large, spotlessly clean and deliciously cool on a warm day. The bed had clean white sheets and a thin comfy duvet - perfect - and was extremely comfortable. Bathroom in our room had two entry doors - making a separate toilet and bathroom although looking at the room plan, that might not be the case for every room. The bath was HUGE and it had a big shower too with plenty of warm water - wonderful. The location of the hotel is within a 7 minute walk of Bus 2 (the bus you catch to/from the Airport) and within 5 minutes of the Viru Gate - and entry to the old Town with all it's bars, restaurants, historic sites etc.. There's a tram stop just around the corner where we got trams to the Kadriorg gardens / art museums and the Seaplane Museum. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there the next time I'm in Tallinn

GermanyThe shower sink smelled terrible the last two days of our stay. We informed the front desk, but it wasn‘t fixed.
Spacious and comfortable room and bathroom. Comfy beds. Perfect location. Close to the city center, cafes, shops, everything in walking distance. Easy to reach from the airport. Nice restaurant and bar. Tram station around the corner. Fast wifi.

United KingdomLoved the property. We thought the aircon wasn’t cooling enough one night. The hotel staff looked into it promptly - realised you can’t make rooms really cold the way we like them. Not a major inconvenience but the hotel staff offered a free breakfast immediately. Very sweet gesture on their part.
Amazing location, very big and clean room, great staff and a brilliant breakfast.

FinlandThe spa and pool area was quite small. The facilities in there were clean and the view from the Spa area is nice (over Tallinn), but even with only 6 quests the area felt small, and the jacuzzi was full the entire time we were there. The Finnish sauna in male side was so small that it was full when two people used it, the steam sauna was better. If you want more/different pools and saunas, maybe consider somewhere else.
Room was excellent (although the view was not great, but than can be amended by requesting another room). Facilities felt modern and functioned well, the room was also relatively big. Didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, so cannot comment on that (there are a lot of good cafes nearby).

SwedenCon: - The Family Room had long window panels on the other side of the room which face East - the morning sun shines in very early during the summer and there was no blind/curtain to block the sun out. The brightness woke us woke very early and kept us awake. We hope the management can address this matter for our future stay and for future patrons.
We stayed 4 days in the Family Room, and enjoyed our stay very much! Pros: - Staff were friendly and helpful. - Hotel was very clean. The room and bathroom was spacious, and beds were comfortable. - Location is excellent and has very convenient access to restaurants, shopping, supermarkets, the Old Town and the city. - We dined at the NoHo restaurant in the lobby, and the service and food were excellent. (Their French fries were made from real potatoes and one of the most delicious I’ve had). - Breakfast spread was excellent and had good variety.
