If it’s warm, it’s little uncomfortable to sleep. And you have to be aware of mosquitoes :)

Lovely location - forest and lake only six steps away :) Perfect rest in the woods with everything you need (if your expectations are not too high). I’ve been here twice and will come back!

Slippers would have been nice to have. Bigger grill also would have been nice to have, for the small one coal was needed but we did not find any there.

Everything, the place is perfect for peaceful and relaxing getaway. There is everything you need to make food, coffee. We got lucky and there was no mosquitos. Biggest benefit that there is no neighbours.

While the property was overall a great experience, there were a few drawbacks. When we arrived during the winter season, it was quite cold, and we had to make a fire in the fireplace to warm up. There was no running water, and the toilet was located outside, which, although understandable given the remote location, was a bit inconvenient. However, the only real downside was the lack of communication from the owner—despite requesting instructions about the house in English, I received no reply. This was a bit disappointing, as clear instructions would have made the stay even smoother.

The property was absolutely delightful! The location and views were breathtaking, offering stunning scenery and a peaceful ambiance. I truly appreciated the quietness of the area, which made for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. The sauna was a highlight, providing a perfect way to unwind. The overall atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating a cozy and comfortable environment. Highly recommended!

Take something against mosquitos and in case you have forgotten then fortunately you can find the equipment from Selver in Põlva. Pay attention that there is no shower.

The house is located in the forest (not deep) next to the lake. It was nice surprise that there were SUP boards that could be used on the lake. The surrounding is very quiet and you can enjoy the sounds from the nature.

It would be good to have some onsite written information how to use generator and gas stove.

Peaceful and isolated place, where the nature was well preserved. Tiny house was located next to a private lake, not far from city Põlva. We had two sup boards to swim around the lake. Next to the house was also small sauna, what heated really fast. Dry toilet was 10m away. No shower but the sauna had a water tank to make hot water. Electricity was made with solar panels and in the evening it was possible to use generator.

Nothing. But you can add the mirror in the cabin for the ladies) no shower,but for us was not a problem!

Location is great! Everything that you need to enjoy romantic or chill weekend! Wooden pier by the lake allows to swim comfortably and fullfil the whole picture. Sauna is cherry on a pie. Works perfectly! Will definitely come back!

If possible it would be nice to have an easier option for swimming in the lake: currently there is no official path to the water and also the lake bottom is muddy enough to scare most people away from swimming. Some tidying up wouldn’t hurt.

The location, cleanliness, calmness and remote from the town. The sauna was great!

There was no dock to get to the lake. The muddy bottom that is littered with rocks made it impossible to get far out enough to swim without risking injury. Therefore, if a dock or jetty would be added that enabled direct access to deeper water, the property would be perfect.

The property itself was very nice. Great location by the lake, the sauna was lovely. Modern and clean cabin.

Mosquitoes, what can you do?Make sure to take something against them. The lake is beautiful and my daughter swam there but there is no dock or smth to make the entrance easily accessible (yet) to people less adventurous

A lovely cosy little place with a very intimate quite atmosphere right by the lake. Despite it being small(perfect for couples or young families) it has absolutely everything one might need. Cutlery, (2 french press cups for coffee)towels, boiling pans, glasses, bed linen, blankets and pillows. Birds singing, glass door sauna with a view on the lake. Dog friendly, which was perfect for our family. We even had warm bathrobes waiting us upon our arrival. Thank you very much, we had a great little retreat surrounded by nature there.
