Personally I think the showers do smell and should be cleaned more properly. Also the mattress isn't super comfy

The pod itself is big enough. The instructions are clear and for a night overstay it was fine! It's easy to use public transportation to go to the city centre

I felt like the showers haven’t been cleaned up in awhile.

The capsules were super cute and you could fit well in them! Also the lockers are very good and it’s good that if you forget your card you can still access with the code!

Noice from all the beeps when others open/close their capsules. Unlike loud guests, these beeps can be prevented by the hostel.

Fast check-in, clean, capsule is ok.

It was a bit expensive for a hostel bed/capsule in a city such as Tallinn. And the booking.com advertised it as a 'room' not capsule. I thought I will have a separate room until aI checked in.

Very comfortable and nice capsules. Easy to use.

Very expensive per night, but I think this was due to the AC/DC concert. Everywhere was much more expensive than usual.

Security and space within the capsule. Showers were clean and of good quality. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Small aspect but the TV inside the capsule was not working, based on the other comments, it seems like it's an ongoing problem.

Absolutely great place to stay for a couple of nights to visit Tallinn! The pods/capsules were very comfy, a lot of space, AC working perfectly. The common spaces like the kitchen or bathrooms were also spacious and clean. Great location (not directly in the city centre but close to it).

I couldn't notice if there was an outlet for a pc charger in the bedroom, so I guess it is only available in the common areas. My luggage was too big of a locker so I had to put it inside the bedroom. The coffee machine in the kitchen wouldn't accept my bank cards (swedbank, dnb) The bedroom might seem too small to some people.

I liked the design of every location, especially the bedrooms. I was pleasantly surprised to see that every shower cabin had a lot of space inside (I had stuff to leave outside the shower). Every bedroom has so many nice features. The bedding was very comfortable and smelled nice.

I'm currently staying at Capsule Hostel Tallinn, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Booking directly through their official website was super easy and straightforward. The online check-in and login process made everything smooth and stress-free from the start. The capsule is clean, modern, and very comfortable. It offers great privacy, with personal lighting, ventilation, charging ports, and a mirror—perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. It really feels like a mini private room. The common areas are spotless and well-maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the bathrooms are always clean. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, which is perfect for working remotely. The staff are friendly and happy to help with recommendations, and the location is ideal—within walking distance of Tallinn’s Old Town, transit, and great local spots. I’m really enjoying my stay here and highly recommend Capsule Hostel Tallinn to solo travelers, digital nomads, or anyone who values privacy and comfort in a cool, modern setting.

i was not able to turn off the lights fully inside the capsule. some buttons were still illuminated, even though i chose the sleep mode. perhaps it was only a malfunction (capsule 17 i think)

Easy check-in, enough room in the capsule itself, enough showers and toilets available.

No staff around (obviously saves the hostel money). Not a very social place. A little way out of town.

Very safe and secure. The capsule gives you privacy not often found at hostels. Overall it was a positive experience.

A lot of blue lights (bad for sleep?). My capsule (#15) had a broken button for the Sleep Mode, resulting in having to sleep with the blue lights on.

Very modern, I easily managed to enter and accommodate myself with the automatic system set in place. Everything was very clean. Common spaces were nice to be in. Capsule was spacious, and had good air.

There were some issues with the TV which was not working and the instruction manual was not in the capsule and I couldn’t find the staff to help with it.

Easy accessibility and very clean with good guidance. I had just stayed for a short time as my flight was later in the night. Other amenities were good ,kitchen had all the necessary things and shower room was clean.

    - It needs a carpet, paper towels or something to dry the snow marks from outside boots in the locker room. - The shower cabins are very small, they lack space for personal items. It would be good to have at least a small bench or shelf inside the cabin. Another useful thing would be a small bin to throw fallen hair when washing the head, it is important for people with long hair. - The cabins are comfortable, but the sleep mode doesn't turn all lights off. The red TV light is super annoying. Also the screen was malfunctioning, I wasn't able to watch it. - The cabin door opens pushing the mattress inside and removes the sheets from it. This could be easily solved by changing the direction of the opening to the outside. - There is no option to leave luggage in the hostel outside checkin and checkout times.

It's practical and well organized. You don't interact with anyone and guests respected silence, which is important in shared spaces. They offer inside sleepers and towel. The price is ok and there are tram and bus lines close by.

Bathrooms could use a bit of an upgrade. There's nothing seriously wrong with them, but it would be nice to have a place to put your clothes while taking a shower. Maybe I just got unlucky with the booth, but there was no hooks or shelves where I could hang my clothes or leave my cosmetics :( Also, the capsules are a bit "squeaky". When going in/out of them it's almost impossible to do it quietly and it might disturb other guests, especially at night. It's not very loud, wouldn't even call it loud, but it is noticeable... I can imagine there's nothing they can do about it, as that's the way the cabins are built, but if someone's got very sensible hearing it might get to them... Then again - if you do have such hearing you'll probably hear the trams as well as there's a railtrack very close to the hostel.

All in all it's a pleasant place to stay. Not really in the city center, but there's a bus/tram stop literally two steps away from the entrance and you can get almost anywhere you want from there. The hostel is quite easy to find as there's a huge sign at the front. Can't say anything about the staff as I didn't interact with anyone - you check-in using the machine by the door and check out by simply putting your key card in the box provided. The capsule I got was clean and ready for use (also they do provide towels :). The bathroom has several shower booths and a couple of sinks, where you can brush your teeth or wash your hands. Toilet was clean (at least in the morning, can't tell how it was later in the day when more people used it), so you don't have to worry about that neither. Would I recommend it? If you're on a budget - definitely go for it. Great value for money and no huge disadvantages to put you off :)

Out of date stuff in vending machine. Out of date by 7-8 months. Very uncomfortable bed. Blue lights in capsule are very disturbing and distracting from sleep.

Really clean, easy check in, friendly cleaner, I like the capsule idea.
