Carmen is a very congenial host, helpful with answers and kitchen offerings. This is a short walk to/from the bus terminal, and an equally short stroll to restaurants. There is a small refrigerator in the room. Hot water is quick and easy.

Excellent place. Fabricio is amazing, we were even able to drop off our bags for a bit to go to the national park. He helped us massively with ferries. Clean room, everything as advertised. Safe. He is well known around town and takes great care of his guests.

The hotel different from what I expected, the pool from the photo turned out to be a jacuzzi for up to two people. There were cockroaches in the hotel. Other than that the room was large but there were bugs in the bathroom. 20min to the center on foot. On the plus side there was potable water, kitchen in the room and common well equipped.

Great budget friendly hotel located 10-15 minute walk from the town centre. Comfortable room with air con and hot shower + free drinking water. Very friendly host who very kindly dropped us off at the pier after our stay. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

I really don't know how this place has such a high rating. It is so run down and the location is poor. The only positives I can think of is that the beds were comfortable and there was a little seating area outside the room that was nice.

Pretty much everything. The plastic accordion door on the bathroom is duck taped top and bottom and does not come even close to closing so your bathroom business is everyone's business. There were red ants crawling around on the counters, floors and in the bathroom. The "hot tub" was dirty and had air temperature water in it. The stove was rusty and wobbled. The kitchen cabinet had a few random mismatched items and a missing glass panel. The wooden gate entering the property is out of line so it takes a good hard push to get in and it is a very loud entrance. The "reception" office door was open the whole time we were there but just full of piles of junk. The owners brother (?) met us there to show us our room and said the owner would be there soon but we never saw the owner until 10pm the night before check out when he brought us our change from our cash payment for the room. His only communication with us while we were there was to ask us to give them a top review.

Good situated hostal a little outside of the main square.

Expensive but ok for Galapagos standards. Internet is offered but practically useless because its so slow - unfortunately its almost imposible to find good internet at any other place on the islands.

Everything! It was in its own compound small and friendly. Family ran and so helpful despite our poor Spanish

It's a walk from main area but I was fine,others may not like distance.

Nice big room, great air con. Shared kitchen with nice communal garden. Nice affordable option in town. About 15 walk to main town centre.

Hot tub was cold!

Large, clean, comfortable room, and lovely host (Elizabeth). The shower was the absolute best I had in any accommodation during my three week stay in Galapagos.

Really weak/slow WiFi connection, so had to go into town to deal with something work related. The WiFi is absolutely fine for calls and texts…just too slow to upload/download anything—so the WiFi shouldn’t be an issue for anyone who needs to perform basic tasks. But I wanted to mention it for people who might have work related tasks to perform while away.

Spacious Clean rooms with attached bathrooms. We had very different age groups from 80 to 16 years and the property was great for all of us. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The common kitchen area was lovely to cook meals and it was clean and tidy. My son left his EarPods and the owner ensured we got it. Thank You so much.

It was very quiet, hot water showers with plenty of pressure, confortable beds and powerful air conditioning.

The location is a bit far from everything but easy to walk as it's pretty flat.

Hostel is about a 15/20 minute walk to the pier, quite close to the market. Booked because had stayed one night on the road on the seafront and found it too loud at night, so this was quieter (except the cockerels and dogs obvs!). Kitchen was functional, hot water, small fridge in room

Wifi was pretty bad, and common area furnishings were quite dirty (dog!). Tap was still dripping as mentioned in another review, and the bathroom door doesn’t give any privacy as didn’t go the whole way across the doorway!
