We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesOur room did not have good wifi. Also, lots of street noise heard in our room. No elevator made stroller a bit difficult. And the stairs are not baby friendly.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was laid-back not a busy city type and close to hospitals with close up mountain view.

EcuadorUnfortunately there was a construction/refurbishment being carried out very early in the morning that didn't allow us to rest a bit more during our vacations. Any other aspect aside from this, it was a pleasant experience.
It had a good price-quality/experience relation. In this specific point, I found this room really convenient in terms of price, in a nice/quiet location, with many useful places in the vicinity such as mini-markets, restaurants, the Hospital Metropolitano, among others.

FinlandThey kindly stored our bags while we were in Islas Galapagos. Transportation from and to airport worked well; thank you Oscar 😊 Facilities needed to be asked for, everything arranged well, (except laundry machine, what was mentioned too, was then the machine of the property & in the basement). Breakfast was poor, housekeepers who were serving it were nice on our last breakfast though. Bad soundproof, much loud traffic noise from the street, our balcony was to the street. All in all far away from everything, what was maybe good in this situation, when it was night curfew etc. in Ecuador.

United StatesThe breakfast didn't seem to be worth the $5 charged - especially the percolator coffee. And no coffee maker in the suite. A kitchenette without a coffee maker? I certainly wasn't expecting that.
It's a perfect location for anyone who has appointments at the Metropolitano hospital complex, but it seems far from shopping and dining. Very comfortable, clean, and secure.
