Food options around are limited (need to walk for 10/15 min) but they offer delivery contacts. Facilities are a bit old but all functionable.

Nice hotel in lago agrio to prepare for your Cuyabeno trip. For the price you have a wide room with an en suite toilet, bathtub, sofa and table. Can use the kitchen area and patio to hang clothes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to the tourist park which is free entrance and nice to kill a couple of hours. Internet is good for working.

The location was a little out of the way from the downtown area.. just a quick cab ride though.

Everything was great from the reception to the clean rooms. We just spent one night there en route to cuyabeno. This was an excellent choice.

We did not always have hot water. But considering the temperatures this was not a huge deal.

The service was great. We were picked up at the airport in Coca. We could also leave our luggage during our trip to the rain forest. And they provided us with an really early breakfast when we left. The room is spacious and comfortable and for South American standards reasonably clean.

Breakfast was quite basic but not an issue.

We stayed here for a night before heading into the Amazon rainforest. The guy at the front desk spoke English and was very helpful - we were able to order breakfast for the next day, sort a taxi for the next day, and also because we arrived quite late he helped us to order food for delivery. The rooms were nice - clean, bed was very comfortable, and strong wifi. Perfect for what we needed.

The owner was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious, bed are comfortable. We felt very safe even though the surrounding wasn't particularly eye pleasing.

The difference between what is advertised in Booking.com and the reality: promised garden view did not really exist (there is no garden that I would advertise as such – just a few plants). Reception is said to be 24hr, whereas it actually locked up at 10.30pmish (which is fine with advance warning – I had hoped to buy something from the chill cabinet). A restaurant is advertised but doesn't exist (and there's nowhere to go nearby) though they ordered a very nice meal from nearby, but it's rather odd to have to eat it at a table squeezed into reception.

The room was huge, clean and with a large and comfortable bed. The shower too was good and a/c excellent. A family-run establishment with a friendly feel. Convenient for the lovely Parque Ecológico a few hundred metres away

Location is a bit of a sketchy area and a long way from food. Rooms very average. Lots of barking dogs at night.

Probably good accommodation for the area. Stayed here on the way to the jungle. Staff were friendly and helped us get a taxi.

It was not great value but perhaps that is just Lago Agrio. The staff were great but the credit card machine wasn’t working so we had to find another way of transferring money as we didn’t have enough cash.

It is a convenient place to stay before a Cuyabeno trip. Clean and very friendly staff.

Firstly the room we got was strange and had a see through glass viewing room directed directly at the shower. Secondly there was dubious marks on the walls left from previous tenants, hand marks, stains among other things. Thirdly the door bell for the property was going off all night until 2-3am during our stay despite not many people being checked in on the entrance sheet. The shower was very strange and the angle made it uncomfortable for me to shower as the water was pointed towards the middle of my back. The location is very bad and I wouldn’t suggest walking around outside during the day or at all at night, the owners lock the front door for this reason.

There was an okay bed and there wasn’t too much noise from the road.
