Front desk could have been friendlier

We came in late and they had 24 hour dinning which was a plus. The room was very comfortable. Adjacent to the airport was convenient as we were flying out the next morning.

I should have booked directly as it was much cheaper.

We had troubles with our Chile visas and had to stay in Guayaquil. The Holiday Inn was easy walking distance from the airport terminal. It was quiet and comfortable. It had vegetarian options on the menu. And it saved us from having to find somewhere in town. So pleased to stay here.

The property was very clean, the rooms were very comfortable and ample. We found the room impeccable. We had left our toothbrushes and asked the front desk and we had toothbrushes within minutes. Breakfast was also very good, with a large variety of options. We also felt safe at all times. Will go back every time. Very happy with our stay.

Great Hotel, exactly what we expected from Holiday Inn (modern, clean, western standard). The best thing is its located right next to the airport so perfect for a one night stop over on the way to the Galapagos. They have a free shuttle to the airport which you can arrange with the hotel in advance (you can also walk it in 5-10 mins). Due to the security situation in Guayaquil (Australia Govt. rates it as 2nd highest risk so our travel insurance was not valid), we preferred to stay as close to airport as possible. This hotel felt very safe.

I received excellent service at this hotel. Entire staff was gracious, professional and genuinelt hospitable and kind. Restaurant open 24/7 w delicious healthy food. Breakfast buffet included in price of room offers wide array of options and is vastly better than typical “free” breakfast in US chains. Room is v quiet & fully equipped-mini fridge, safe, excellent pillows & comfortable bed, good shower.

Very clean and comfy, 5 minute walk from the airport but they also provide a free shuttle service to get there and back. Pool and jacuzzi are really good - on a balcony with a good view. Friendly staff, felt well looked after. Wifi works great.

The shuttle wasn’t there so we had to walk to the hotel. Room look a bit dated but that can be just the choice of furniture.

The hotel itself is in a great location - walking distance from the airport (there is a shuttle available as well if you don't want to walk). The welcome drink was delicious & we found every staff member from the security officers to the front desk to the restaurant staff to be super friendly & helpful. The rooms were clean & the beds were comfortable. You cannot hear the noise from the airport. We ate dinner in the restaurant & the drinks/food were delicious. We also had breakfast included within our stay & the breakfast buffet was excellent. There were so many choices from pastries to Ecuadorian food to fruit to juice & had coffee/tea service. We had an early flight and couldn't stay long but was not expecting such a full on display of delicious things. I especially enjoyed the encebollado & the banana cake. The water features were a nice touch to the lobby. We did not use the gym or pool as we were staying overnight here on our way back from the galapagos but those also looked very nice. We slept very well before our international flight. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Guayaquil on a layover from the airport. Would stay here again if we pass through the city.
