The only thing that we wish the hotel would do would be to have air conditioning in the hotel gym. We used the gym for the first time during this latest visit and the gym is incredibly hot to work out in.

My wife and I always stay at the Balandra when we travel to Manta and we always stay in one of the bungalows. We like having a refrigerator and a safe in our room and the feeling of being in our own separate residence. The breakfast buffet set out every morning in the restaurant is outstanding and all of the employees at the hotel are just the very best people. We love that the hotel pool is kept nice and warm and the hotel grounds are meticulously cared for. It's just a very short walk to Pacifico Mall and to Murcielago Beach for our morning walks along the beach.

It’s prime location and steps from the beach, mall and anything you’d possibly need. The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive. The breakfast buffet was amazing! I looked forward to it daily. Everyone there makes you feel at home.

Excellent restaurant. Beautiful breakfast buffet and compliments to the chef for our lunch and dinner. The warm pool and family park was perfect for our little one and the game room was perfect for our teens.

This is where to stay in Manta! The location, the accommodations (including the restaurant and pool) and the extras (hairdryers, perfect showers, balcony, breakfast, airport shuttle) — all of this perfect and the staff, even better.

you have to climb too many stairs before you even get to the elevator to go to your room and the restaurant. They only give you one 1” bar (if you can call it a bar) of soap.

We ordered the room with sea view. Unfortunately the hotel is not on the first line so the sea view was only above the building. So the view was not so fine

The noise was loud through the floor. The room above our room, we could hear every footstep and they had kids running around latenight and early. And there was some construction for a couple days that was loud jackhammering.

Andres Zavala was an excellent tour guide and driver. He is our Amigo!. He is a wonderful man who took very good care of my family. He was a great tour guide. Selena was very helpful with checking us in and making our stay top notch! The staff and service were excellent and the hotel and restaurant were great! I highly recommend Hotel Balandra.

Great hotel with super nice facilities, lush and tropical gardens, and rooms are clean and spacious. Although the pool isn´t big, it`s heated what makes it very pleasant. Our kids loved the playground. Breakfast is fantastic, and all the staff at the restaurant, customer-oriented, very helpful, and friendly. Special thanks also for Maria José, she is wonderful and made us and our kids feel very welcome. We definitely return!

The Wi-Fi did not exist. Or it felt that way being that it. Did not work the entire stay.

The wonderful breakfast exceeded our expectations but also the beautiful view in the morning from the lovely terrace.
