  “Omar’s hostel is a hidden gem for those who want to enjoy Montañita but still have a peaceful, authentic place to relax. Omar is such a kind, open, and experienced host – he shared great local tips, showed me around, and made sure I had the best time. The vibe is like staying with friends – super welcoming. I stayed in a colorful SpongeBob-themed room with blue, sea-inspired walls and a view of banana trees and singing birds. Just amazing. There’s a well-equipped shared kitchen, it’s close to town, and the private gym is a huge bonus for sporty travelers. Highly recommended!”

  “The staff at Casa del Sol were super friendly. The included breakfast was something different each morning. Yoga, surfing lessons all available from the hostel. Super laid back and friendly vibe.”

  “A little piece of paradise right on the beach front. If you’re looking for a peaceful place close to Montanita, with wonderful people and great vibes, this is your place! Pablo and the volunteers made it feel like home away from home right from the start 💛 also, I highly recommend not booking any activities nearby in advance as Pablo will recommend much cheaper and better options for everything from surfing to whale watching. Thank you, Pablo, I hope I’ll come back one day soon 💛”

  “Great location and in easy walking distance to bars and restaurants. Staff was super friendly and helpful especially Jackson and Andres . Free breakfast was absolutely delicious. Great energy, very social, big kitchen, quiet for a good night, comfortable beds. Also loved the yoga classes. Can’t fault this gorgeous hostel.”

  “The pool was great and the lighting is really cosy. The atmosphere is relaxing during the days and the grandpa that helps out there was really lovely.”
