JamaicaLoong check in. We arrived about 11pm in the night from the airport. When we went to the front desk there was no-one there to attend to the guests. We had to wait about 20 mins for someone to come out. The check in process was also long. They arranged for the golf cart to bring us and our luggage to our room. The cart drove along the back side of the property. Upon arrival to our building, there was a foul smell. We entered through a small door, where it seems like the workers probably use to get in and out. The smell followed and continued into the elevator. We used the elevator once after that and vowed to use the stairs for the rest of the trip. When we got in the room, it didn't feel new. Usually when you enter a hotel room, it smells fresh, looks tidy, it feels different. We only got one bed instead of two for our family of four. We decided not to make a big deal of it and use the sofa bed. When the sofa bed was opened, the mattress was full of stains. No sheet was on it either, it couldn't be slept on. That was the last straw, we decided that we want a room change. When we called the front desk they explained that due to the late time we wouldn't get a new room until tomorrow, but they'll send someone with some sheets for the sofa bed for tonight. The next day, we packed up our luggage and called the front desk to bring a golf cart so we could move our luggage back to the lobby until the new room is available. We called the front desk several times for them to bring a golf cart. Thankfully, our building assistance, Katrina, was able to call them again and someone showed up after 5 hours. From there the trip was better. The new room was great and you could feel the difference when we stepped in. The bed had a beautiful design on it, which we didn't receive in the first room.
The property is beautiful. Friendly staff members in the buffet. Went to the gym for a TRX class and it was amazing. A big shout out to the fitness team. Easy booking for the boogie excursion, which my family enjoyed alot. Loved the lazy river, it's one of the best I've experienced, probably due to the shade that the trees provide. Very relaxing and a good vibe with the music bar in the water. Great hospitality by our building assistance, Katrina. Overall good experience.

CanadaAntiquated, backwards, old fashioned check in and check out that takes far too long. And if you add on days like we did you need to go through the process again and again instead of doing it once.l, especially when you’re not changing rooms. Getting luggage to or from your room takes far too long and it’s faster to take the bags to your room yourself. This property has the same address as the Royalton’s two other properties next door. Get it straight to make booking much easier!
Well laid out. Easy to find restaurants and facilities. Staff are friendly. Carlos and Pedro with gust services and front desk were exceptional.

United Arab EmiratesThe attitude of some of the staff is not great. Had many issues on arrival with the room, amenities, key, towels, cleaning etc. The rooms need maintenance asap. Theme restos have all they need to do great but I think staff needs traning (chefs/floor staff) Service is slow. Cold drinks served hot. Towels for the pool not available in the busiest area. Massage was excellent, the two therapists were impeccable however the watersport team next to it destroyed the experience by smoking *^%€@ and shouting while you get your massage. Movies are displayed on TVs your kids have access to with no pass code so they watch and you pay 12 usd per movie (a recurrent issue as acknowledge by FO)
The infraestructure layout is excellent. Plenty of pools, bars, restos etc.

United StatesThe property is in need of renovation with broken items in the room such as dresser drawers and the security safe. I asked for a remote for the TV and it never arrived. There were some missing items like an iron and ironing board which were listed as being included with every room.
It was good with a variety of options including a lot of different fresh fruits.

United StatesI wish they have golf carts only for people with 5-10 minutes ride to the beach. they mostly time busy with suitcases. As if you want to go to restaurant close to main lobby it’s complicated. So better to have strollers if you have baby or little kids. But it’s ok if you like to walk

United StatesEvery restaurant we went time waiting in a food was 60-90 minutes Steak House made a nice lobster presentation but it was difficult to cut on a little table with many plates and a baby. We asked to clean and bring it back but Chief didn’t help us In Brazilian they brought chicken/pork and turkey at the end when everyone was full with rice and salad bar. room food delivery 60-90 minuts Bad phone service The worst is a problem with golf carts ride to the restaurant or back. It’s hard to catch one or they put a lots of suitcases in front of you. Or take another people who came later on. That’s awful! Why didn’t make separate service ride with people only And luggage And some drivers weren’t nice

IrelandThe food in the restaurants was average at best. The menus have great potential but the food fell short every time. Service in all the restaurants is ridiculously slow. You had to book your slot in the restaurant early the day before and regularly the ones we were looking for were booked out immediately. Table setting were regularly missing or for too few / too many people. Very few staff were attentive in the restaurants, the rest were doing the bare minimum and looked like they didn’t want to be there. The rooms are nice but cheap furnishings have not stood the test of time and are in need of repair or replacement. One of our sinks was blocked and the shower head wouldn’t stay in place, this was reported on our first day but not fixed. Location on the beach is good but overall you are far away from any attractions, towns, shops or other restaurants which is a bit isolating. There is definitely a gap in the food amenities for somewhere serving snacks. A bag of crisps in the shop was $15. This meant you were left hungry for hours if you could only get a reservation at 8:30pm
The hotel is beautifully set on the beach. There is bar service on the beach and the staff there are very friendly. The pool is lovely with plenty of shade and the drinks available throughout the resort are excellent.

The kindness of Vilme who welcome us at the entrante of the resort and was always attentive to my son and me. The meals and breakfast in the buffets will be very varied and tasty. The pool and entertainment are fabulous.
