How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

They need to have more bilingual employees. The quality of the alcohol is poor and drinks were terrible. The service sometimes depended on the colour of your skin ie: the lighter skinned guests were attended to first before the ones with darker skin. When it was time to leave, they would not allow our taxi to come in and told us we had to walk to the gate because we didn't use their taxi shuttle.

Verified reviewAlmost everything is great. The pools, the rooms, the staff. Everybody is great, especially the bar staff. (Jose, Angel, Enrique, Mart, Daniel). The parties are amazing, they really know how to party! The room was big and totally clean. The app is also amazing, and if you send a request like more pillows, etc, they bring it to you very fast.
The food at the buffet was almost the same every day, and the deserts were not good. I didn't try the specialty restaurants. The gym could have a renovation since it is an adults only resort and many people go there.

The bugs were crazy and the septic smell was awful.

Though we manage a proper fumigation program for all our areas, it is unfortunate that we are unable to control insects at 100%. Due to the warm weather and the location of our resort, which is surrounded by vegetation, it is possible that insects can enter our facilities. Our lovely staff work really hard to keep them under control, since our grounds have extensive garden areas. We fumigate continuously all areas to keep insects away from our grounds. There was no ac in my room, I paid 1500 dollars and couldn’t sleep comfortably. Staff was a bit rude! The price is overpriced, and the room looked nothing like the picture.

There are only a limited number of bathrooms. Having some closer to the restaurants would have been nice.

Verified reviewCleanliness and how nice all the staff were. I loved seeing the Adults enjoying themselves and the elders as well. I loved that it was separate area’s to pool party vs being away from the party.
The food was horrible at each of the restaurants. The beach had too much seaweed and I couldn’t enjoyed it. I was forced to stay at the pool area. First time ever experiencing this in any resort.

Verified reviewThe vibes were insane, So much to do, never a dull moment. Pink Party and Jungle Party were an absolute movie So much diversity of different cultures staying in the hotel you meet people from all over the world like Americans, Canadians, Brits, Caribbeans, South Americans and Europeans. Many food options to pick to your taste and can walk in to most restaurants without a reservation ( the quality wasn’t the best though but ALOT better than what the other reviews would make you believe)
Restaurants closing at 9, should stay open til 11 No straws with the drinks from the bar, is a slight inconvenience Water pressure in shower drops significantly in the afternoon
