Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

JamaicaI think the workers need to be more diverse seeing people from all over the country visits! It would be good if they teach the workers english. I was so sad when I wanted to know something and the worker was annoyed by me asking seeing he could not understand me.
This trip was for my five year old daughter. She enoyed the trip 100%! The pajama jam and water park literally took the entire trip for her!

United StatesI did not like that some staff by the pool area who make the drinks for people ignore me 3 times. I asked for 2 drinks and they said okay and went ahead and serve others and left me waiting. I asked 3 different staff.
We went for my son’s bday. I requested a crib for my baby but did not get it. I also requested a late check out which was granted and I’m very thankful for that.

United StatesThe Food!!!! For an all inclusive we were hungry too often. The room service options were not good and you couldn’t modify your food. For example if you ordered juice they list 3 flavors but you don’t get to choose. You get what they bring. We struggled daily to find for we enjoyed. The stand alone restaurant menus didn’t have options we enjoyed. Room service offered no kids menu and pool side there was no food unless you walked 5 mins away to another small pool bar to order then you have to wait as folks who paid for prestige get served first . Same at the water park food options are limited and the quality of food taste isn’t great. Not enough seating at the water park, which is weird since it’s a main attraction. Horrible beach
The property was lovely with many pools, great entertainment for the kids & adults and the water park was tons of fun for my toddler. The hotel staff was friendly and kind.

PanamaSafety Concern at Aqua Nick Turtle Ninja Kids Pool & Aggressive Sales Tactics at Prestige Presentation During our stay, we experienced a serious safety issue at the Aqua Nick Turtle Ninja kids pool. The lifeguards responsible for monitoring the closed water slides were not paying attention. My 5-year-old child entered the slide and got stuck for several minutes. Despite my insistence, the security personnel kept deflecting, saying things like “he must have gone the other way” and “the slide is empty.” However, I had been watching my child closely and saw him enter the slide. I was about to climb up myself when kids started exiting — there were five children in total, and some older ones were inside the slide blocking the way because they were trying to climb back up. Even after “checking,” the guard insisted for several minutes that the slide was empty, which was clearly not the case. Additionally, if you are not already a Prestige member, be aware that the resort uses very aggressive sales tactics to push the membership. They presented Booking.com and Expedia as overpriced and untrustworthy, trying to pressure us into a $16,900 Ruby membership. They refused to let me take the actual contract to read on my own and instead insisted I review a 27-page printed “sample” — described as “similar” — during my vacation time. I found it extremely inappropriate and disrespectful to expect guests to spend hours of their family time reviewing such contracts on-site. Coincidentally (or perhaps not), later that same day, items from our all-inclusive minibar — unrelated to Prestige — were removed while we were out of the room. I reported the issue to hotel security and to Booking.com customer service, but I am still waiting for a follow up.
Most part of the staff is awesome. I loved the fresh ceviches and kids loved the Slime and the dinner with the Ninja Turtles. Amenities are pretty and there is a wide variety of food and sweets.

United StatesNot a deal breaker but seaweed kept rolling in at the beach (even with staff trying to keep up with cleaning it), but we just focused on the other amenities. There were lots of food and dessert choices not available on the menu unfortunately when we stayed. The shows were 8:45pm every night and I wished they had an earlier option as some kids barely stayed up that late after a long day. So, plan your afternoon nap for the kids if you need or want to.
Very clean resort. Staff was all friendly and waved or said “Hola” to my kids even with a language barrier. There was always a character appearance somewhere on the property every 1-2 hours so did not feel the need to do a character breakfast or dinner.Food was decent for a kids resort. You can wait for golf cart to get back and forth to the other side of resort for water park (but it would be a 10-15 walk otherwise). Shows were lovely and entertaining for all ages.

PanamaMy room was not properly revised before my arrival. Also happened to another guest during my stay as she was directly complaining about her room not having good temperature. The managed to fix me another room but it had the shower glass leaking into the toilette. Be aware of their “members” plan.
It was generally clean. Daily room service and overall staff kept the place neat. Nice variety of food during at the buffet. The asian styled kitchen was and option I really regret having. The other restaurants were pretty good. Once you arrive they try to sell you more stuff, room upgrades or services with the TV characters. Their kids service is limited as for the kids pool is only open until 5pm local time but the personnel announces that you must leave by 4:50pm. I believe they should extend their schedule. They have some activities for the evening like face painting, a small inflatable playground, and a dancing show. My family and I had fun but as our second time having our holidays in Punta Cana, my expectations were high but you have to set them to the standard of your stay

United StatesTransport cart could take a while. Their buffet restaurant could get pretty hot at times. Very slippery floor after the rain and the hotel didn’t have notice or do anything abt it!
Beach access is easy. Room is comfy and clean. Staff is pretty accommodating. We gotta meet lots of characters on their schedule. We avoided the concierge service so no forced sales for us! My son loves the Snick Lounge.

Canada- service ( most of the staff that we encountered were nice, but some have favorable guests, especially if they are spanish speaking 😔.) - there's always no towel available at the infinity pool and beach area. - room service order may take more than 1 hour and expect some of your orders might not come. - if you ask for something at the reception (even if you went there in person ,they will tell you that someone will bring it to your room and that they they are unable to give it to you at the reception), expect that it will never come. - an hour(or more) delay on some of their shows that might messed up your other plans such as dinner reservation. - the non-inclusives such as the gift shops are on the pricier side. (much more expensive than Disneyland)
- lots of character pop-ups (2-4 in a day) - lots of activities for the whole family (such as magic shows, circus shows, and themed night ) - loved their foods and drinks - facilities are great and clean - 24 hours room service - pineapple tour - character breakfast that my daughter loves the most - Aquanick is the highlight of the whole resort - attentive life guards at the whole resort

United KingdomCheck in was dreadful. Slow! Staff unhelpful and rude. Concierge service only interested in selling timeshares. They failed to make the dinner reservations as promised and we ended up not being able to eat in Spacewalker restaurant as a consequence. Alcohol was low quality brands, draft beer was undrinkable. We stayed here in 2019 and the food and beverage standards have really dropped since our first stay. We will not return for a third trip.
Drivers of shuttle carts were brilliant!
