No direct access to the beach

The public beach is small, overcrowded, and quite a walk from the hotel. The atmosphere there is not the best. All the good parts of the beach are occupied by resorts. Next time, we would prefer to stay in a place with beach access, such as Playa Cadaques.

The apartment was nice and clean, with 2 comfy king size beds. The pool and common areas are nice, parking is available. We paid an extra 16 USD for 15 hours of electricity, which was somewhat hidden in the small print ("electricity fee may apply"). We found the restaurant a bit overpriced.

We loved the complex, the beach is stunning. We stayed at Cadaques caribe not at Los flamencos so it was a nice surprise when we arrived.

I think the electricity is to expensive, we made the check-in like 5 pm and the check-out like 10 am at the next day, and we paid 11 US for the electricity, we were very carefull using the air conditioning, the rooms needs black out courtains.

Small cockroaches in one of the bathroom and in the night on the floor below us.

Felt a lot of Humidity in the rooms and sheets. Excessive energy consumption and cost. A/Cs seem to be too old and their energy consumption higher than Modern units since they were used only to sleep after 10 pm and the cost was too high.

Los Flamencos Aparthotel is the management who acctually rent the watarefront rooms in the hotel Cadaques Caribe Resort. We booked at Los Flamencos Aparthotel but as we selected "waterfront rooms" they placed us in Cadaques Caribe Resort. So this review is for Cadaques Caribe Resort. The beach in this hotel is rocky and there are a lot of rocks in the water but they have one small spot next to the pier where very little rocks in the water and you can enter and swim. A lot of wild wasps live on the beach in the sand in burrows and they fly all over the beach in large numbers constantly, making it difficult to walk along the beach without getting bitten. The resort is far from restaurants and shops. You will need to pay $10 one way each time to get to the nearest shops or restaurants. There is one restaurant on the territory with Canadian-American food prices and a tiny convenience store. Music in the resort is prohibited and there is no entertainment so there is nothing much to do. There is a water park for children, but it is not open all days and only work from 3 to 5. If you need to check out of the resort in the morning and leave later, the management does not want you to leave the luggage at the reception unless you give them a very good tip. The rooms in the pictures at this resort look better than in real life, expect to see everything in much worse condition than in the photo. In general, this is a quiet 3-star resort if you need to stay for one or two nights it is ok. There is nothing to do in this resort for a longer period and it is located in an inconvenient location.

If you select waterfront room you will be placed in the resort - Cadaques Caribe Resort for whom Los Flamencos Aparthotel provide management services for booking. Good water park for kids in Cadaques Caribe Resort but it works only 2 hours per day between 3-5 pm and not every day.

The fact that after booking it, it charge you for electricity. We turn the AC from 11pm-5am and pay $10 usd imagine staying for a week and turning the AC for more than 6hr a day $70+ when I owe 2 homes and have 3 AC and bill is less than $40 usd I find that a rip off.
