We had a challenge with the internet. It was constantly cut off. Streaming anything was not possible. We also would have liked to have a coffee maker in the room. Other than for breakfast the property has no coffee. You have to venture into town to get it.

Beautiful property and owners are very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool has a good size and the water was very clean.

Fairly new property in very good and very clean condition (as per the pictures) located in-between the main beach of Las Galeras and La Playita (~10mn walk each). Very quiet at night, so good night sleep 100% assured. Super safe. Amazing hosts who made our stay memorable. Value for money. We would definitely stay there again. Las Galeras has been the highlight of our 2-week holiday.

Everything was perfect, the best place we have been in the Dominican Republic. The place is beautiful, very clean and in a quiet street. The garden with the swimming is beautiful. The owners are very nice and helpful, highly recommended!

Nothing. Everything was great! If you read my other reviews, you will see that I have almost never said this about other properties.

Everything was perfect 👌 The owners were so nice, accommodating, and made sure that everything was as perfect as possible! I can’t say enough good things about it. But I’ll try! A/C was ice Cold. Nice hot water in shower. Everything was super clean! Bed was comfortable. Security was great. Pool was clean and well taken care of. Very beautiful floral and fruit trees. Breakfast was delicious and very fair additional price. Owners had great recommendations for exploring the local area and places to eat. The town more felt safe to walk around than some other places we have visited, especially in the evening. The bungalow is walking distance to TWO great beaches and even a cave to explore!

The shared areas such as the garden and pool are very beautiful, well kept and peaceful. The room was very comfortable, clean and nice. Same for the bathroom. The hotel is very close to a gorgeous beach called La Playita. The best part of our stay was meeting the hosts, who are very welcoming and attentive to anything we may need. Would definitely recommend for others to stay here and would personally come back.

We loved everything about this place. The hosts were very friendly and attentive. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were perfectly climate controlled. The breakfasts were amazing. Location was perfect, close to town and easy walk to La Playita, my favorite beach.

I missed a small refrigerator. But after talking to the hosts, they told me that they are planning this in the (near) future.

Very warm and friendly hosts. Nice, clean and modern rooms. A very good shower with good water pressure and hot water (I mention this because this is not always the case in Dominican Republic). Nice atmospheric lights at the small pool.

The bungalows are located in a side road which is very quiet. Still the Main Street with a bank and lots of restaurants and shops is only a three minute walk away. Similarly the beaches of Las Galeras are easily reached by foot. We didn’t bring a car but there’s ample of secure parking available. The two hosts created a great atmosphere and a delicious breakfast which we enjoyed every day. They helped us out with everything; from arranging taxis to trips and giving useful tips. The pool and all amenities are kept exceptionally clean. One thing to consider when booking is that there’s no door between the bathroom and bedroom.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The bungalows are cute and have everything we needed for 2 nights. It felt safe and we could walk to the beach and restaurants. We could park our car inside, although there's limited space so be sure to contact them before.

The have a parking inside, but because they ask for a cash deposit for the key, we needed to park outside (from 10PM that is the time they lock it) because we did not have enough cash on us, so take it into consideration if you want your car to be inside.

The pool was super, with plenty of sun during the most of the day. The air conditioner was working perfectly, which is very important in this area. The property was very quiet taking into account that Dominican Republic can be noisy with all the motorbikes and music, we could sleep pretty well. The owners were so kind and helpful, really lovely couple.

Walking distance to the main part of town and all the beaches around, yet tucked away in a quiet street. Super clean and well maintained property. And the best part of it all were the hosts/owners Sylvie and Yveric.

You should really like your partner since there is no door to the bathroom. The hotel is new and might not be known by some drivers. It is a few minutes away from the main street on a dirt road, which wasn't a problem for us.

Very helpful French hosts. Room was very clean, had lots of storage options and was quite new. 15 minutes by foot to both beaches in Las Galeras. Breakfast was nice (not included). The hotel is in a very quiet area.

I had 4 great days in Bungalow Colibri. Sylvie and Yveric are very hospital and helpful people. They made such a great place to stay in the middle of Las Galeras. It’s close to shop, bank and 10-15 min walk from beach. I loved so much the room, the peaceful surroundings and swimming pool. Room was clean, spacious and look exactly like on the pictures. I had breakfast and it was delicious (I tried both versions). Great start for a day. Sylvie and her husband took a good care of me during my stay: they answered for all my questions and were available on phone. They know the neighbourhood well and can give you a great recommendations for trips and help with booking a tour. I recommend from the bottom of my heart to stay at Bungalow Colibri in Las Galeras! Thank you for your hospitality :-)

Beautiful property located in a quiet area, nice and big swimming pool, clean and modern rooms equipped with Air conditioning, while the owners are super helpful, welcomed us warmly and made breakfast for us last minute upon request. Highly recommended!

We booked this hotel because it included breakfast but when we checked in we were told it was 500 pesos/$10 USD per person for coffee, fruits, and bread. We asked if they had a Dominican breakfast option like tres golpes/mangu and they didn't know what we were talking about. Being a hotel in the Dominican Republic and knowing the national breakfast/meal is very important. Also, no coffee was offered or available in the room. We were not able to pay by card, it is cash only. We also had to pay a cash deposit for the main gate key. We received the deposit back after returning the keys at check-out.

The hotel's location is off the main road and down a small road. The area is near restaurants and within walking distance of Playa Las Galeras. The hotel is pretty new and has about 5-7 bungalows. We were the only guests since it was the down season. The owners were able to accommodate early check-in, but we ended up arriving at check-in time and appreciated the flexibility. We only stayed one night and didn't use the pool. The bungalow is one room with a bathroom. There is no door in the bathroom only a curtain. The shower doesn't have a door or curtain so the water got all over the rest of the bathroom floor. The room has both an AC and fan.
