How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewHola Amigo$! Every single person we met during our 8 day stay treated us as if we were family. It was authentic. The best restaurant staff out of any place I have ever been. You can expect the best food hats off to the chefs and kitchen help. The grounds crew starts and you do NOT hear loud machines rather happy folk steadily working on pools grounds floors rooms the place is spotless. This was my 9th trip over the past years and this will be my only destination because of how amazing the front desk and management were. Each morning you are greeted both ths days schedule and a warm Caribbean Dominican Republic morning. I wish I could be there as I write this and wish hope and pray all my friends are well 💯 stars 🌟. Antonio was an outstanding bartender whose professionalism, personality, and skill made a lasting impression, though unfortunately, he departed during our visit. Kimberly, our butler, was equally impressive—exceptionally attentive, thoughtful, and dedicated to ensuring every detail was taken care of. The views are beautiful, the pool is well-maintained and enjoyable, and the intimate scale of the property creates a more personal and relaxing atmosphere. Incorporating more upbeat music and lively entertainment options would further enhance the ambiance and elevate the guest experience. With the right investment in upgrades and amenities, this property could truly become an extraordinary destination.
The property has significant potential but requires substantial upgrades to truly meet expectations. Enhancements such as additional dining options, more activities, a spa, and expanded restaurant choices would greatly elevate the guest experience. Room service should also be available, along with more late-night dining and entertainment options to accommodate guests seeking flexibility and variety. During our stay, we encountered several challenges: the shower water was consistently cold, the air conditioning in the master suite did not function, and maintenance across the property was noticeably subpar. While restaurant reservations were required, we found the venue empty upon arrival, making the process unnecessary. The buffet selections were limited, lacked variety, and the food itself could have been much better. Similarly, the food options at the bars were minimal and should be expanded to provide a more satisfying experience. Although the resort itself offers attractive scenery, the surrounding area felt unwelcoming and unsafe. Many of the repairs on the property appeared temporary and poorly executed, underscoring the need for professional renovation. With proper investment, enhanced amenities, and attention to detail, this property could be transformed into a truly remarkable destination.

After having to move from a previous hotel that was dirty and loud, this hotel was a refreshing change with clean rooms, a large and peaceful pool and beach, plus all inclusive restaurants and cafes. The highlight was the staff - Androver in particular was incredibly professional, friendly and attentive and made sure any issues were resolved promptly. We ended up recommended this hotel to some friends of ours who also had a wonderful stay. Thank you to Androver and the team for everything!
The spa was still being built and the gym did not have air conditioning.

Unfortunately there is no chance to swim in the sea near the hotel because of the seaweeds :((( But you can go to the nearest beach (literally 3-5 minutes walk) near the next hotel and there is a chance to experience the Caribbean Sea.

Verified reviewFirst I have to say I LOVED IT HERE!!! Everything was a 10 out of 10. You may get a little worried before you get behind the gates but once the gates open that’s the real gem. It’s just beautiful. You’ll be greeted with a friendly face I got the please of been checked in by Allen we arrived very late but he took care of us. When I walked in the room I was so amazed how clean and fresh it smelled. Only thing I had problem with water was kind of cold but other bathroom water was better so I went to desk next morning where I was greeted by Willy which was the BEST there 20 out of 20.He came out and gave me all the run down I needed to know about the resort each day he communicated with me about the activities he made sure my stay was comfortable and made sure I had everything I needed. Anytime I reached out to him he always communicated back. Willy is AMAZING!! I told him it was my bday he gifted me a cake and wine which was so nice of him. Willy made sure we had transportation back to airport as well he even checked on me the day after I arrived back home. I was still there trying to book and see when I’ll be back. All the employees are nice and friendly from the restaurants the bar even housekeeping the pool guy everyone I seen. You can tell they love there job which makes it more enjoyable for the guest. This was my only vacation I actual relaxed and enjoyed the room I spent my time laying on beach and in the pool. They have a spa and gym there as well. It’s very family friendly as well.

Verified reviewSimply put - NOTHING. I struggle to be able to come up with a single positive thing to say about this hotel, our stay there, the staff, the food, etc. It was all varying degrees of terrible!!
Simply put - EVERYTHING!!!! LOCATION - miles from anything useful. Right outside the main gate is a local barrio that was horrifically noisy. There was an awful smell thourhgout the hotel, which at first we thought was a sewage problem, but later found out that it came from old sargassum weeds all along the beach. BUILDING - The place looked closed when we arrived at approximately 9pm. Little to no lighting. Protective tape on the glass doors. Reception was very dark and gloomy. Furniture looked like it was bought as a job lot from a closing dollar store. Random mix/match of designs, styles, colours, etc. Roman style statues mixed with cheap Asian style artefacts. Paintings in the halls were dozens and dozens of the SAME image over and over again, and not one was aligned with another. For some inexplicable reason, the numbers in the lift (elevator) did not match the floor numbers - i.e. if you pressed 2 in the lift, it would take you to floor 1!! Qaulity of the finishes was terrible. Paint on door handles for example. Zero attention to detail. FOOD - There was a buffet of very limited selection of old and stale foods that seemed to have been left out for days and that cost US$35!! They tried to offer us a 'discount' when we asked to leave!! ROOMS - Very little worked. The TV remotes had no batteries. No variation on water pressure ot temperature. The beds were on unlockable wheels - WHY?! Terrible views over dirty and messy storage facilities. STAFF - This was the worst we have EVER encountered. Jeremiah (apparently the manager) was incredibly rude, unhelpful, and incredibly disrespectful. Had we arrived earlier, we would have left and found another hotel immediately, but it was late and we were tired from many hours of travelling. Advice to all - AVOID this hotel. Every single other hotel, even the cheap motels will be a better option than this one!!

My window view was poor. I was overlooking the lobby. No option for upgrade. manager never responded to my request to switch rooms for a better view with a balcony. if you're going to book, please op for the balcony option.

The location. The beach itself was nice, the resort did a good job of keeping it clean. The water wasn’t good at all, you wouldn’t want to swim there.
