It is a great location. Hosts were very helpful.

Night time some dogs near by would bark.

It's a romantic place, amazing for us, almost in the center and close to the beach, at night we sat in the open bedroom on the terrace and listened to music from local bars and drank rum :) We would love to come back..

Great location, short walk to beach and town. Friendly and laid back place. Our room was better than in the photos.

Very good location and very good environment! The property was clean and the rooms are amazing! Haven’t been in such a good room since long ago :) The owner Caleb is so friendly and he’s always making sure you have all you need! Highly recommend this accommodation if you want to enjoy some days in a chill atmosphere

The mosquitoes, but obviously is not the property’s fault 😂 they bring you free mosquito spray to use there

Jacqueline, Caleb and Ryle were AMAZING, the property was super clean and in a perfect location in Las Galeras, I can say I have new friends in Las Galeras. For sure coming back

The hosts were lovely, very welcoming and caring, the garden and common area was beautiful. You feel home right away. The hotel was right next to the beach and very convenient location. The hosts installed a mosquito net around the bed for me.

The mattress was not very comfortable, you could feel every spring. The room was facing the street with louder traffic during the day and there was a noisy construction site next to the bedroom window.

Great price/value, very close to the beach and friendly owners. Recommended!

The location was perfect literally a 2 min walk from the bus station, less than a 5 min walk to the beach and restaurants within 5 mins too! Yet it was set back enough so you didn’t get any street noise. The hosts were super lovely and welcoming, Veronique was really helpful with giving us places to visit and see and telling us shortcuts to beautiful beaches!! The room itself is basic but comfortable, we loved that it had a small table and chairs by the window to play cards/games in the evening, no hot water in the shower but this seems very standard for the DR, shower pressure was good though! The mosquito net was a great touch very handy in LG for someone who seems attract alll the mosquitos!

Two improvements could be the room was very dark even with all of the lights on and the bed was more like a large single than a double, great if there’s one person staying but as a couple we didn’t find it the most comfortable.

Almost everything I had was great, felt like staying home with family who cares about me and looking for my pleasure.

Nothing to mention. I had such a great time with the host who were always ready to help.

I am a "no frills", low-maintenance traveler. If the shower works, the linen is clean, the bed is comfortable, and I can cook, I really don't require much else. This is what you can expect if you book. Veronique and Michel are lovely hosts. They were very responsive to the few requests I made, and gave me great advice on local places to check out. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Some seating other than straight-backed, kitchen-type chairs would have been nice, like a nice reading chair and side table. The stocking of the kitchenette could have been better- the only cooking utensils was a fish spatula, one pot, and a pan that I had to ask to be replaced because it was so burnt out.

We got the economic double room, unfortunately it can be very hot, although just like everywhere else. The wifi does not reach the room, but the common areas yes.

My room was pretty dark even with the light on. But otherwise nice room and excellent location.

Good location, close to the beach and restaurants. The staff was accommodating my request for reimbursement when the water stopped working and I had to leave.

Even though the water outage was not their fault (street was being demolished) other places had emergency sources from tanks as it is apparently common. This hostel had only one emergency tank outside the room and the water was infested with parasites (visible inside, swirling around like tiny black looking hairs). Also, there was a construction going on next to my room. They were hammering walls so much that a wall paint flakes fell on my pillow from the ceiling. So overall, coming back from a whole day hike to no shower, water with parasites and workers pounding the wall next to you, it was a very bad experience overall.

The two owners are incredibly nice and helpful, they could answer any and all questions and had great recommendations. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable.
