Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNot enough space to move about for a double size bedroom. Having a fridge with no ice facility in this temperature was disappointing.
Breakfast was very basic, would be nice to have a cook breakfast at no extra cost. Location was excellent, no problem getting around the town, very central.

CanadaThe neighborhood was noisy. But it was Friday night and things quieted around midnight.
The staff were super helpful and friendly. The location was close to the downtown, bus stops and ferry terminal. The continental breakfast was wonderful with a coffee machine and a great variety of fresh fruit.

Saint Kitts and NevisIt wasn’t very clear at the start what breakfast consisted off i thought there may be more selection for hot breakfast options (if it was available o just wasn’t very aware). Communication prior to my stay could've been better meaning calling the contact number to the hotel (no one had answered on the multiple occasions I called). Having to call booking. Com to get through to the hotel was a bit annnoying. However, it may have been a one off situation as failure to answer was for good reason (personal medical situation from the owners side of things). So knowing that there is hardly anything to complain about. (Water pressure could be better on the shower from the room I was staying in but that could be an island quirk rather than a hotel issue).
They were accommodating with my arrival time that I had to change last minute. Breakfast was healthy- a lot of fresh local fruit available alongside cereals, coffee and toast. Owner’s son who was managing guests at the time I was staying was very polite, friendly and helpful. Definitely made me feel more comfortable staying there on my own for the first time. He also helped me sort out a taxi service to get to and from my event.

A great place to stay in Roseau. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the centre in a quiet area. The AC is really powerful and the bed comfy. The hotel is close to many of the parking areas for the minibuses. Staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfast was great.

United KingdomNothing!
This bed and breakfast is perfectly located for exploring Roseau and the surrounding area. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and storage, and was spotlessly clean. We loved being able to watch the sunset over the sea from the balcony outside the room. The breakfast had everything we needed to set us up for the day: a huge selection of fresh fruit, cereal, bread and spreads, juice and coffee. The staff were very friendly too.

CanadaThe slightly unpredictable shower, as 1 of the 4 days that I stayed here the water was very cool & almost no pressure at all. The other 3 mornings it was fine.
Very good breakfast included in the cost of the room. I appreciated Philip explaining to me how I could take a local bus back to the airport on the other side of the island - a 1-hour trip - b/c when I arrived I was charged $80 USD to get to the guesthouse! You have to give yourself lots of extra time b/c, of course, the local bus is picking up & dropping off local people & cargo so it takes longer but I saved about $75 USD & had to walk the short distance from the airport's front gate to the terminal as these buses are not normally permitted on the airport property. Easy.

United States❌ The pillows—definitely could be better. ❌ No blankets, just a thin sheet. Luckily, I had two beds = two sheets. Overall, a convenient and friendly stay with a great host and location, but definitely bring your own pillow if you like extra comfort!

NetherlandsThe breakfast that is included in the price of $100 a night is a joke. Just toast, butter and jam and some fruit. Eggs had to be paid extra. Very disappointing.
We just stayed one night to be able to take ferry the next day so the location was perfect. At night there was a lot of noise from loud music in the neighborhood. The staff was very friendly. Overall the guesthouse is clean but in the room there was quite some mildew and black residue in the toilet.

NorwayNice yellow building just outside the noisy city center. Accommodating is surprisingly expensive here, so compared to other places in the world this is not value for money. But in Roseau I think this is a nice place to stay for a couple of days. Very basic breakfast included - they even charge (a lot) extra if you want eggs, and we booked a room with ocean view, but the view was only if you sat outside the door of the room. Short walk to the city center and pretty calm environment.
