I booked a room with a balcony that in the pictures showed a view but I didn’t get this.

The staff were welcoming. The dinner made to order was excellent. The room was clean. The location was quiet at night and is convenient for the airport and early flights. The transport to the airport early was on time and friendly.

Despite its proximity to the airport, Marigot has little to offer a tourist in Dominica. For some, this could be a good thing; one has a chance to experience a typical village of steep, winding narrow roads. This is not a flaw of the hotel, they appear to be doing the best they can with their location.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport; essentially after a long day of travel to Dominica, we just wanted a quick taxi ride to a hotel to relax and unwind. The hotel was a great choice for this. We were there in mid-February 2025 and there was evidence of a 'former glory' (prior to a hurricane, perhaps) in the form of an outdoor courtyard, bar and stage. There was construction in process and I have hopes for a bright future for this facility as the entire staff was extremely welcoming, attentive and informative. Since there are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity, we requested a dinner there, which was superb as was the breakfast the following morning. After breakfast, we walked about 45 minutes, mostly downhill and quite scenic, back to the airport to get a rental car and began our exploration of Dominica. Some travelers might choose to do it differently and immediately leave the airport area to 'see the sights'. I have no regrets; primarily because of the friendly staff at the Classique International.

The hotel is perfectly situated close to the airport. It is a family hotel thar we liked and they did the best to accommodate us as we arrive quote late. They even cooked a late dinner fir us. The room was big enough for 2 with all amenities.

It would be awesome if breakfast or some food options were available, especially given the price point of the hotel. In the morning our flight was cancelled and we had to search out breakfast options. As it was a weekend nothing was open. Having a leisurely breakfast and taking in the views before leaving would have been a more comfortable ending to our trip.

If I have to pick something to not like I would say not having a front facing window would be it. In this particular suite on the 3rd floor there was a large window which does look out to the back of the property so not to worry if you are claustrophobic there is a window that faces the back if you want to open the curtain. It didn't matter much because you can just go out onto the veranda, just bring bug spray for the evening.

The suite was very clean and had a small refrigerator and microwave as well as a lovely veranda to sit outside and enjoy the birds and majestic views. I traveled solo and felt very safe while staying at the Classique. The staff always made me feel welcome on the dining patio and even sat to socialize from time to time. I enjoyed all of their varied personalities they all were very personable and accommodating with my pre-requests for meals and tour suggestions.

Excellent staff. Very comfortable clean location and we had a very nice dinner prepared for us. Cold beer upon arrival! It is very far to get to the airport from Roseau or Portsmouth- this place is the perfect way to end your holiday without stress!!!

The hotel was advertised on Booking as close to the airport with a hotel shuttle available. This was the main reason I chose it, because my activities tours could pick me up at the airport. However, Classique International is not walking distance to the airport and the “shuttle” was actually a $15 taxi ride, arranged by the hotel host but paid for by me. Luckily for me, both my activities tours were willing to pick me up at the hotel.

Very clean and comfortable. The host was attentive, especially by phone on WhatsApp. I requested dinner, was offered menu choices, and was served a delicious fish & veggies & rice plate plus dessert for about $20 US. Thanks to others on Booking for telling us about the lovely meal option. Location is a short walk to the village, where there is a grocery store.

Honestly, nothing. Everything was fine. They were doing some renovation on the property, but it didn’t affect us.

The ambiance was beautiful. The staff was impeccable . Elvin was accommodating, friendly and just an all around excellent host. The hotel was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Lena and G cooked us the most amazing meals and they were so friendly. They were there and met our needs. We had a wonderful taxi driver named Kendra who took us where we needed to go. The property is close to the airport and is just beautifully maintained. We felt like we were at a home away from home. I would stay there again and would recommend it to everyone. It is truly a gem of a place and a jewel on the island. My family and I left there feeling like we had been with family .

There isn’t a lot to do in Marigot - although the villagers were friendly!

Spotlessly clean, welcoming and friendly owners. Classique is an absolutely perfect for an overnight stay before getting the plane home. also a good spot for exploring this northern part of the island. we had a lovely home/cooked supper too! There is a bar and dining room or you can eat/drink outside.

Had to shower in corner, so water didn't run on floor. Need to open gate to park yourself. Checking in wasn't all that simple. All minor stuff really.

The grounds were very pretty. The room was comfortable. The A/C was cold. Less than a 10 min drive from the airport. Will make you breakfast/dinner if you request it. Clean. Shower large, water hot.

Communication with the owners was dreadful. We sent multiple emails regarding the evolving situation of our later and later arrival, first asking them to pass on the arrival time to the taxi meeting us, then asking if we would be too late for dinner and finally asking if they might be able to make us a sandwich because we were really late. We only got a reply when we explicitly asked that they acknowledged our email, but even then our questions were not answered. When we finally arrived nobody appeared to have even read our emails and, though we finally got a sandwich, it was grudgingly offered. To add to the general trauma, the owner even said he would have to check that that we had paid for the room! Which is another negative side to the hotel - they don't take cards, but do everything via PayPal requests! Finally, the room was advertised as having tea and coffee making facilities..... There was some instant coffee and one cup, but no kettle. I suppose we could have heated some water in the one cup in the microwave that was surprisingly in the room - but seriously??!

We picked the hotel because it was close to the airport. We wanted somewhere to stay on our arrival because we were anticipating a delayed flight.

Very expensive. All charges were in us dollars. No price list when ordering food or drinks, so very upset when got the bill. Should of been in EC dollars not US dollars. Charges were outragious!
