Our room was bright and roomy and we loved the ability to open up all the windows to get great ventilation. We had the junior sweet that was one big room and it worked perfectly for us. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic as were the friendly and helpful breakfast staff. The reception staff were also so patient and accommodating and open to making us happy! Shout out to Amanda— what a gem and also Kate during check out working with out special requests for paying the bill. The location was great and an easy walk from the train station.

It was a trade off for the great room but we moved to the busier street side. It was still worth the move because the room was so open and bright! The junior suite that was two separate rooms seemed smaller and the windows of the room with the sofa did not open so it was stuffy. Luckily they were open to moving us. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was pricey and not great. Their breakfast was much better.

Breakfast is very good, compliments to the person that boils the eggs - perfect.

This place is only suitable for one (max two days). We stayed for several days and got a room as far from the lift as possible. There is hardly any room for your luggage. Shower and handwash water is limited, but the toilet flushes at least 30 liters.

It’s right in Roskilde. Breakfast buffet was great.

We booked for two adults and two kids. We arrived late and the parking lot was super busy. We got the last spot. So prepare to park elsewhere if everything is full. We arrived in our room and sadly only one bed was made for the kids. We had to prep the second bed ourselves. That was a bummer that late at night. Otherwise everything was fine.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is cozy, clean, and has a really nice atmosphere. I felt comfortable during my stay and would definitely come back.

The pillows were not very comfortable. Also, just a small advice: if a guest makes a mistake, it would be better to mention it privately rather than saying it out loud in front of everyone.

Location and nice staff

Since we had seen the exhibit at the museum about the Roskilde race track we didn’t put it together that this was the same location as the track. Maybe a little display or information at the hotel would be interesting

Staff was very welcoming, and the breakfast was superb even had separate ares for gluten-free with an exclusive toaster. There is a lovely park adjacent to the hotel which we discovered used to be a famous motor racing circuit and is well worth exploring or just enjoy a walk.

The location is not central, we found the walk into town or down to the key was a bit uninteresting and quite a long way however the station is about a 15 minute walk mostly through the park and this was very convenient for a day by train to Copenhagen.

Excellent breakfast.

No restaurant or bar on a Sunday. Far to get food after a long drive. Terrible. No coffee/tea facilities in room. Very badly organised.

Bedrooms are spotlessly clean but a little tired.

No soap in the shower (bottle not refilled). A little further away from the centre of Roskilde.

The breakfast was really good. The staff was very polite and friendly. The park around the hotel is so pretty if someone wants to walk or hike. The rooms were comfortable and clean!

The check-in queue was too long. They didn’t clean our room on the next day which was surprising. The location is far from the Roskilde city Centre. It’s about 20 mins walk and most days it was raining so we had to take a taxi and that wasn’t the best part. We didn’t plan to use taxis as they can get expensive.

Breakfast was amazing and so was all the staff. Easy parking, family room was a good size.

Rooms too hot , unable to open the windows. Maintenance staff was burning weed on the patio too early in the morning.

I've stayed at this Scandic several times and love their breakfast, as well as its calm and quiet location. It's a 10-15min walk from the train station, but it's worth the walk.

It's the best Scandic I've stayed at, and I usually stay at Scandic's across the Scandinavian countries whenever I work there - by far the best

Overlooking a park so quiet. Comfortable beds, decent bathroom, good breakfast. Fan in the room was appreciated as there’s no AC.

No kettle in room and charges for the tea and coffee self-serve machine in the lobby. Quite a walk from the centre of Roskilde, but about half of the distance was through a park. Feels a bit dated.

Restaurant for Breakfast was amazing. Great food, set up, design, Ladies in the restaurant were very friendly. Restaurant and rooms are renovated.

Smell in the coridors, I think carpets are waiting to be replaced.

Rooms unimpressive, room amenities lacking. No coffee station. Very poor housekeeping - needed to request for room to be cleaned after 4th day of stay.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They did all they could to make us feel at home. The breakfast was excellent! A great value as it was included in our room rate. It has a beautiful outdoor seating area and it’s in a park so it’s very scenic and family friendly. The decor in the rooms is very up to date and very clean.

The location. This hotel would have been perfect if it had been a little closer to city center or if there had been restaurants and stores nearby. But that can’t be helped and we were aware of its location when we booked it. On the plus side it is an easy walk to town and it is in a beautiful park. We had a view of the lake from our room.
