How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Room very basic with cement walls. No tea/coffee making facilities. Situated next door to the bus garage.
The location was close to local amenities. Good choice for breakfast. Staff very polite and friendly.

Simply equipped room, good for overnight not for longer stay Very poor light in the room, very dark, very poor breakfast Good location close to train or bus station, also close to centre Nothing to do with real sheraton And I hate in many hotels as well in this one when cleaner woman starts to clean the room next to you with big noise at 7.30 to gently kick you away even if check out is at 11.00. Always accidentally next to you. Because she wants to go home soon and doesn't want to wait till 11.00 when you are leaving. This behaviour is common in many industrial hotels and same here. Doesn't matter where you stay, she will always clean noisy next to you.

The room was basic but very clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable. Staff were very pleasant. Good breakfast buffet with lots of organic produce. Excellent location next to bus and train stations.

I would have liked having a kettle in the room.
The staff was extremely friendly, the room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The location was also good right by the bus and train stations.

Super located, close to the train station. Also, quiet rooms with all necessary facilities. Kennedy Shoppingcenter next door, so getting food is easy. Good coffee and impressing choice at the breakfast table.

Rooms are a bit small (but we already knew this while booking) but clean. It would be good to have a small restaurant in the hotel, or at least a vending machine. This city sleeps early and if you come in late, a vending machine will ensure that you do not go to bed hungry!
Overall clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Location: depends on what you are looking for. It is right next to the main bus stop and train terminal, with a shopping center right next to the hotel and easy access to bus that takes you to anywhere else in the city. However, the neighborhood is a bit on the quite side, next to residential apartments.

Finding the parking entrance was difficult. There is comstruction near by amd no clear way defined to parking area.
It was easy check in / check out.

Zleep has system for guest self checkin, where a machine, which is the first we encounter on entry, is used for filling in detailed customer information. All this is done with touch screen entering of alphanumeric information. It is a mystery to me why this couldn’t be done much easier online before arrival, and the customer then be given a reference number for the self checkin. For the very few (are there any these days) that were not able to fill this out online, the existing system could of course be retained. Cumbersome as it it.
Nice hotel, close to Aalborg station. What I needed for an overnight stay on my way to Norway.

If you are traveling for work like I did or you want to use wifi to watch videos, you should be ready to get disappointed. I guess my room was far away from the router and the noise level on WiFi was around -100 db meaning an extremely weak signal.

Need to pay a little money if you want to store your luggage.

Would have liked a kettle in the room and maybe a small fridge, as is standard in a lot of hotels. However, this may have just been the room type I opted for.
Loved the sleek and modern look. Being able to chromecast into the TV was great too.
