The bathroom was amazing as well as the pool with a view. The ruins of the castle across were a reason to stay there and it was great.

Room seemed different than booked. A "Romantic Superior Double Room" was booked with a "large double bed". However, the double bed was rather small and also the room did not lool like the one shown with the particular room booked. Monday and Tuesday there is no restaurant. However, this can be known in advance.

Selection at the breakfast was not too many considering the price. Wine at the dinner was not of good quality a bit spoiled, we did not drink it almost but still paid for it. In any case staff was super positive and caring, hence I have paid for it anyway) But all was of high quality and tasty. 🙂

Nice location and interesting village. The staff is super supportive and caring. Restaurant is great and the burghaus itself is great and maintained well even though furniture and the facilities were old in the room. Anyway, I would like to thank the peoole working there and their attitude and the nice village/town itself. They even changed one of our rooms due to the my complain of one room being super small. Again staff is the best there!

The only restaurant inside the hotel is very pricy with very minimal selection on the menu.

It is an impressive old property decorated in an old traditional style. It is in the heart of a historic Krönenburg village. The village itself is a tourist destination worth seeing.

The room was very small and the sound proofing was not good. You have to walk through the dining room to get to your room.

Lovely old building but refurbished in a very appropriate way. You still get the feel of the old house but have a great setting. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Not so easy for people in Wheelchair.

The hotel is just amazing. We came by car, easy free parking throughout the year (kein Winterdienst). The woman at the reception is super friendly. The staff in the Restaurant as well very friendly and well trained (both dinner and breakfast shift). The Spa is 45€ for 2 persons for 2 hours. The Spa is super clean, has a sauna, shower and huge bath, including 2 beds. The rooms are cozy and nicely decorated. The food in the restaurant and with breakfast is good quality and tastes super.

The restaurant is not special. Also in the neighboring town the food is not great (we went to the pizzeria that was recommended).

This is an exceptional place. We went for long walks and the pool is amazing.

Internet access via Wifi was slow or sometimes not working. Parking was not free, contrary to the booking.com information.

Wonderful location in old historic building next to the romantic Kronenburg castle ruin. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Private parking.

Nothing to complain.

The location was fabulous. Small and quiet. Staff are really friendly and helpful. There is nothing much in walking distance. So it was perfect for quiet getaway. You can take a long walk in eifel. We recommend it too. Food was very good We recommend also the restaurant.

BEAUTIFUL AND CHARMING. EXCELLENT BREAKFAST BUT PAID EXTRA. RESTAURANT IS GOURMET, a bit limited but they do have is very tasty. The house is old and grand. We had a lovely room with two floors and bathtubs. Wonderful views.

As we arrived late at night, we parked the car in the (mostly empty) parking lot at the end of the street, in front of the big building. It had a sign saying 'private' but the receptionist lady told us we can leave the car for the night. In the morning we found that (presumably) the person whose space we took parked their 4x4 (with Belgian licence plate) deliberately to block our car so we couldn't leave for a while. We could not find this person but luckily managed to somehow manoeuvre the car out of the space. The parking lot was still half empty, so it was very clear that the person did this absolutely on purpose. This is in no way the hotel staff's fault, but please be aware of some resident's attitude. The next day we left our car in the parking lot outside the village gate, it was totally fine. There is also a parking space behind the hotel which the staff will tell you about.

The location was very nice! It's like travelling back in time, the accommodation is at the end of a small village that is hundreds of years old. The view from the window is great. The surroundings are very bucolic and peaceful, there are several hiking trails and in general a lot to see and do in the area (Eifel national park). Most of the attractions are difficult to find out about online, but there are plenty of helpful brochures available at the hotel reception - we used these to find activities for our weekend trip, and were really blown away by the options! Staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast but went to see the buffet, it looks good and worth the price for those who like a big breakfast.

Very charming and peaceful location. Swimming pool and garden are wonderful and very relaxing. Sauna in the superior suite was great too. Good value for money. Friendly staff.
